Had a great first experience at Bentley's Cafe. I ordered a set breakfast and a latte, the breakfast was one of the best I've had in Cardiff, bacon was done well to my liking and overall not an oily/greasy breakfast that some cafes tend to serve up. The latte was nice and presented well.
They have a great menu, with lots of different food choices for breakfast and lunch/early dinner. Also they had a great choice of cold drinks, smoothies and milkshakes.
We visited on a Saturday morning before it became busy and the cafe was well staffed and the service was great. We can certainly see why it is a popular cafe, and it will be our go to from now on for a nice breakfast.
Lovely cafe with a classic decor. Service is great with plenty of seating inside. Staff is very nice and friendly. We had omelette and a full English breakfast with coffee and tea. Everything was delicious and very well presented. Overall five stars and highly recommend a visit.
A lot of people complain about increasing prices in current climate. I don't know how this owner does it but what you get for the price here is incredible, the owner is lovely and approachable, food is top quality and his staff provides high quality service. 5 stars from me ⭐
Best falafel and halloumi wrap in Cardiff! And the breakfast and coffee are both top quality too. Really lovely and friendly atmosphere and good value for money.
What a lovely find...half term treat...lush food...busy and good atmosphere. One thing Is be better if they used there blender out the back kitchen maybe. Very loud. Superb otherwise.

Brilliant. Independently owned and far far better quality food than the chain of Loungers (Juno lounge) down the road. Very very friendly staff and a homely feeling when you're talking to them. Lovely people, great business
It’s not easy to have a table during Friday lunchtime means that the restaurant is so popular. Food is cook for order and coffee is great.
Been here a few times, mostly for an all day breakfast. Today we tried the tuna salad and the avocado salad - healthier option. All round - excellent! Would highly recommend. Great food and exemplary customer service.
One of the nicest Café's in this part of Roath. Very nice service, ladies always looking after customers and the coffee tastes great, not to mention variety of cakes and desserts. Very nice place.
I can say that the food is just perfectly cooked and so delicious! There is so much variety and you just want to order the whole menu😄. The stuff is also friendly and positive. I definitely highly recommend !
This a cracking little local independent cafe. I happened across it by happy accident on a Sunday afternoon and am very pleased to have done so. The portions and ingredient proportions are generous and delicious - I had eaten the cheese on toast before it dawned on me to do a photo and review. Very friendly as well - I will return and would recommend. It’s also open longer hours and more days than many of the other Wellfield Road options.
Looking for somewhere to eat and spotted Bentley's. Great atmosphere, great food and super friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this place and will pop in if I'm down in Cardiff
A very nice cafe, well priced and decent food....the inside has a rustic look....Very quick service, even though it was busy. Food came out in good time as well. The owner went around, making sure everything was OK, which it was. Food wasn't ridiculously greasy, cooked to a decent standard....Worth the visit if you want an all-day breakfast.
Excellent cooked breakfast for £11. Nice ambience and good service. Egg, bacon, sausage, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes 2 slices toast and cup of nice coffee. Can't fault it really.
Very good breakfast and all round service here very highly recommended, their deals also make it absolutely brilliant value, wat a find, just along from our bandb for our RN chefs reinion.
Always awesome. Each time I think I’ll try something else that looks good, but the breakfasts always get me in the end.. Just the best for breakfast.
