Been here a few times now and it never disappoints. The Mexican Indian fusion works great. The food is always top quality with amazing flavours. The meatballs and the empinadas were our favourites. Always great service here and the staff are super friendly. Will definitely be back soon!

Never knew about this place. The food fusion is excellent. The vibes were amazing, too. I went out with my Pilates friends. They loved it, too. We didn't order the starters. we just ordered some drinks and food.
I ordered Enchiladas Tandoori chicken. My friends had fish curry and rice, and another friend had butter chicken masala. Another friend had chicken tikka frankie rolls. Another friend had Smoked Pulled Tandoori Chicken (Burrito). You can order tapas as well which another friend of mine ordered. The quantity and presentation of food was excellent. I would say you won't go hungry. A very highly recommended place to go.
Vikram is a fantastic chef and food is absolutely brilliant. A great dining experience. (Food is halal also).
Myself and my wife mistakenly went at closing time (assuming they shut at 11pm always). The lady serving us was very welcoming and understanding, they still served us and we're extremely patient. Absolutely fantastic customer service and environment is clean and calm. 10 out of 10.
Mexican + Indian? Something we could never thought of. Food was really tasty!! Had beef fajitas, empanadas, enchiladas. 2 of the servers were the friendliest and not overselling the food. Kudos to them! Would definitely go back!
What a great place! interesting menu options. The Tacos and Enchiladas were delicious. Had great night here with a large group for a Christmas party. Service was excellent. really friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu!
Lovely place to eat the food was spot on the taste was amazing and I would return parking can b hit or miss but definitely worth a visit

We were not sure initially when looking at the menu, how wrong we were. This is a MUST visit on Whitchurch Road. Rustic appearance, the friendliest service, incredible fusion food. Support local!

Epic. Was skeptical about the combination of cuisines but by Jove they pull it off. The food was delicious and it worked really well. Also, very unpretentious.
Six of us went here midweek and it was an extremely enjoyable experience. None of us had trouble ordering from the menu due to the variety on offer and we all left having had a starter, main and a few alcoholic drinks for under £30 per person. Can't fault it.
Personally I thought the beef madras tacos were incredible and I would have that madras again today.
Will definitely return.
When in Cardiff we always stop at Vivo Amigos. Good is amazing and so are the staff. Everything is tasty and the mojito's are lovely!!! Can't wait for our next day trip
Great food, great service and great atmosphere. We had teriyaki chicken Nacho's and beef madras tacos for starters, highly recommend!! Butter chicken masala was creamy and delicious! Great prices and great selection on the menu!!
Absolutely delicious! The fusion of Indian and Mexican cuisines works so well.
I would only suggest to change the buns on the burgers as they're too doughy. Perhaps try brioche bun.

Honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. After hearing amazing things about Vivo Amigos we definitely had to travel there to try it and I’d say it’s was better than expected.
As someone who can’t deal with much spice I was slightly worried but the beef enchilada was to perfection, slight spice but nothing that would put me off my food. With every bite I enjoyed it more and more.
The gentleman serving us was an absolute pleasure. He was so kind and catering to us and whilst running everything he made sure to check on us periodically.
With how much we had ordered and the portion sizing it was definitely amazing value for money. We had a tapas board for starters and a main each and we were left with bullies full and hearts warmed.
Will definitely be recommending to everyone and hopefully travelling back soon to try more.
First visit and Well impressed. The food was terrific as was the service and very reasonably priced. Only complaint as it's a small establishment the noise level was awful. A table of 10 who were incredibly loud drowned out any conversation and was annoying.
Very impressed with the quality and choice of food. Topped off with excellent customer service. We had a really nice time would highly recommend. In the pictures are the pulled chicken Nacho mex starter, and rotisserie chicken for the mains.
This restaurant is now probably one of my favourites in Cardiff, and I have tried many!
