Couldn’t recommend the North Star enough. There’s always a good selection of entertainment through the week, inc a pub quiz or cabaret.

With the outstanding Sunday dinners; I don't know what they do with the parsnips but they are absolutely lush. I hate hate hate parsnips but I find myself coming here just for them lol 😂. And the pork? About the length of a 10 year old's arm
Decent steak cooked as ordered (which believe me can be hard to find). We also ordered the fish and chips,the fish was huge, the size of a child's arm! Would like to try their Sunday roast as have heard great things. Recommended.

I was a bit skeptical about this place but my word what a place food was stunning and cheap yes I said it cheap and stunning two word's that very rarely go together when it comes to food cheap beer brilliant staff I do recommend popping in if you are passing well worth it
