Regularly visit here, customer service is great and there is a wide choice of sweets. Love that they also do fresh juices. Some of the desserts I find sweet for myself but I find perfect for sharing. Will continue to support. Thanks :)

I loved trying the booza ice cream with pistachios and the baklava however one large pierce of baklava and one portion of ice cream came to over £10 which looking back seems a bit pricey.

We went for our 1st visit to this establishment. Pleasantly surprised very impressed by the selection of deserts available. My wife had a coffee which she said was “simply fantastic” and I had a tea.
Slightly pricey for the deserts but they were nice indeed.
The pastry is really good, loved the pistacchio ones. Arabic coffee was pretty aromatic, also different. In my opinion just a bit pricey, but would definitely recommend it.

I went into AL SHAM today as my son was treating me to a box of delicious cakes and baklava. This is my favouite shop. Its a beautiful shop, candelabras on the ceiling, beautiful display cabinets, so clean and the cakes are set out so beautifully. I asked the owner to fill a box with as many delicious treats as he could. I am delighted with my Christmas treat. Delicious Arabic Coffee and a huge range of Baklava made on the premises.
I’ve been here a couple times for their Kunafeh and Baklava. I have tried other places in Cardiff for these desserts but none of them are as good as the ones Al Sham has. Truly one of the best dessert places in Cardiff, I even recommend to friends all the time or give them Baklava gifts for birthdays. Everyone should come here!

I love this place, been here many times already. The best kunafeh and baklava I’ve ever had and I plan to try their other sweets too in the future. 5/5 stars, definitely my favourite dessert place in Cardiff.

Friendly staff, great service, authentic taste. There are endless options of baklava, I ended up trying 4 different ones, I really enjoyed each. The prices are reasonable
The baklava at Al-Sham is the best we have eaten even including on travels to Turkey and Greece. Everything is fresh and appetising and the staff take great pride (rightly so) in their work. Everyone is friendly and no order is too small.
This is our second visit and each time never fails to disappoint, the cakes and baklava are so fresh and taste out this world and the staff are so friendly, the cafe is immaculate and has a beautiful sitting area
