Inclusive, cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Food was delicious, inexpensive, was in great portion and prepared and served with love and care. We brought our dog with us and she was allowed in to the cafe. We ordered the chicken Tikka mayo sarnie, aubergine soup, curry, and 2 coffees and it was only £10pp.

Selena, Aarwn and Jake are very friendly staff. Enjoyed their company and the food. I had the cheese, tomato and ham style toast in brown bread. Another time I had chikn mayo with tomato and cucumber and lettuce sandwich. Aarwn bakes some lovely cakes too. I enjoyed the lemon cake and chocolate cake. Currently they serve sandwiches, toasties and baguettes with a choice of vegan prawn mayo, chikn mayo, chikn tikka, ham and cheese with tomatoes, lettuce and cucumber. They also have cake, coffee and tea. Can't wait for their sundaes and lamb style curry to come back. Definitely recommend as they are autism and disability friendly. The cafe is small can seat about 16 people. They take as much precautions for Covid using masks and sanitisers.

We had our staff Christmas meal here- a three course meal and everything was so delicious! A lovely quiet atmosphere so we could hear what was going on, and we were able to BYOB. The team were so attentive to our needs - don't hesitate to book!!

An immensely friendly vegan neurodiverse cafe. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We sat in the comfy seats, the table was high for the chair so we felt like elves, cool. The cappuccino and tea was of a high standard. The food was all vegan which is excellent for those of us in the vegang, though I found the menu a little challenging as it was a variety of sandwich fillings - cheese, onion, tomato, lettuce, grilled or not, the cheese was violife, which is ok, but i had mine grilled which which improves this cheese. I would have liked a selection of standard sandwiches, perhaps numbered 1-4, 1 is cheese, 2 is humous with salad, 3 is tofu, 4 is fake meat and mustard etc. Maybe even have a random selector option for those who are indecisive, could do with more options basically. more cheeses too, cheesly do a great blue and red Leicester. Also might be better to get the non sliced cheese which is more cost effective. This would increase your appeal to the wider vegan community, you could increase the prices on the more advanced sandwiches too. The ginger cake was good, but we were told it was a coffee cake, would have been good to have more than one cake option, this is a great venue for cake and coffee/tea so would be good to have more options. And it would add more value with the open mic, music and poetry events, hopefully profits too. Your team provide a great customer service experience and with a little more work you will hopefully keep going. Thanks and good luck.

Absolutely brilliant! Superb food, lovely staff and a gorgeous atmosphere. I came for a quick sandwich, stayed to relax with a coffee and just enjoy this cool, friendly venue. Will definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu, can't wait to bring my friends!

Such a lovely cafe! I'd not been before and was looking out for when they would reopen post lockdown. I had a delicious vegan chicken tikki baguette. What makes it special are the lovely friendly staff and laid back vibe. I look forward to being a regular :)

Went for lunch here yesterday 24.7.2021 and the food was amazing! It’s all vegan and homemade, I had the chicken Tikka baguette 🥖 with salad 🥗 and the taste was fresh and exciting, my son who is not vegan nicked half of it and said that he wouldn’t know it was vegan, my husband had the homemade “Mutton” seitan curry with fried plantain and rice and peas, I tried a little and it was amazing, all the staff and the owner were friendly and helpful, if you are ever in Cardiff or you live here or nearby the Aubergine 🍆 cafe is one not to be missed!!!!!!! I just wish the owner would open a branch in Oxford so I could go more often! Delicious 🤤
