1st night of them doing food... They didn't disappoint. Great service, a quick hello from the owner and the food was outstanding!
Against all odds Jack Russell's opened... Absolutely fantastic atmosphere here, its a nice spot to sit early evening in front of the beautiful fire with friends and later turns into the best night spot in the village!! Having spent time in real Irish pubs this one is up there, authentic Irish gins a
4 and a half stars, had Sunday lunch, first time visitor. Two mega slices of beef, like two thin steaks, well cooked and extremely tender. Nice veg although slightly too al dente, good gravy and they provided an extra little jug, the meat could have kept a lumberjack going for a week, treemendous.
It was quiet when I was there (afternoon) and the staff were friendly. Guinness was good but expensive at £4.90 a pint. A typical venue for the younger (under 45) element to enjoy.
Beautiful surroundings, spacious areas for wheelchair access with disabled bathroom facilities which are of a high standard.. Friendly atmosphere and friendly staff. A great Irish establishment to enjoy a few drinks with friends. Thanks for the hospitality. Worthy of 5 stars....
Have had the best nights in here I lived in ireland for 17 years and feel right at home here....staff are fantastic and the warm welcoming decor makes you feel right at home....looking forward to many more fun nights out in jrs. Best thing that's happened to the village in a long time!! Well done to
Friendly staff and exceptionally good Cocktails! Nice open venue and spacious dancefloor! Bring on the irish bands and crank down the beer prices a little bit and you'll be a 5* in no time!
Great atmosphere in a irish style bar . We were a group of 10 people we all ate food and everyone enjoyed the quality of the food served. A great selection of irish beers . Wine and spirits would recommend trying the jack russel bar out. Many thanks to the bar staff on duty truly a great day.
Great place to enjoy as a group, couple or on your jack jones.. food was fantastic which I found to be restaurant standard rather than pub grub. I have no problem giving a 5 out of 5 for the food , service ( very knowledgable ant general all round atmosphere.
Food is decent, match day menu was restricted but nonetheless good value for money and of a good standard.
Venue is worth a visit as it is still new and an alternative to the other local bars.
New food menu out today and its gorgeous. Had a meal and drink there today with my daughter and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.
Nice place very relaxing good décor. Didn't eat this time but food smelt and looked great. Pleasant staff.
Lovely, newly refurbished bar. Appropriate social distancing measures in place, helpful, friendly staff, a great pint and a plate of treats for our dog!
Fantastic addition to Whitchurch village. Been a few times now, great atmosphere, loads of different beers to try, friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.
