tried madras rice and curry ayam with roti. portion is fine for asian. nice taste except their samosa too much spices and ruined the taste. cheap halal food you can get £5 per meal. limited seats so you have to tapau (takeaway) and makan (eat) upstairs. i didn’t try their rendang since owner is not
I'm not sure why this is listed as temporarily closed, as they're definitely trading. They serve the finest Chicken Rendang and Beef Madras in all of Cardiff. £5 for a HUGE portion with Rice, Chips or Roti. Also worth a mention are five delicious Samosas for £3. Lovely people too.
Really tasty, simple but really good and value for money. Did not dissapoint at all. Really glad I came here. And after trying some of the vendors in the market this is my fav so far.
Took me back to Putra Jaya or Kuala Lumpur! We ordered 3 different dishes and they were all amazing, real Malay halal food. Flavourful curries.

Amazing value. So simple - choose your curry (two chicken varieties, beef or vegan) then pick rice, chips or roti and take away a delicious, generously portioned meal for just £5!
This is a place in which I search for rice and curry while I first arrived in Cardiff. Location is not quite accurate so finding it was a trouble. But it was a nice experience, food-wise, service-wise.
The food is delicious, ordered the chicken ayam and tasted just like the food from Malaysia. A really good cheap halal place in Cardiff and would highly recommend.

We had a lovely meal here today. It was £6 for the meal deal which included chicken rendang, rice, 2 somosas and a canned drink which is very good value. The chicken rending was tasty, nicely spiced and hot and we could eat it there. I thoroughly recommend
