What a pleasure it is to fly from Cardiff Airport. The airport is clean and very well sign posted. The security staff are absolutely brilliant and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of food and drinks are available before your flights as well. This is by far the best airport to fly from. It's not too busy and comfortable. I can't wait until Qatar Airways starts flying from there again soon. A lovely experience again at Cardiff Airport, so calm and well organised, so much better than Bristol Airport by far.

Small and quiet airport. Seldom busy. Check in was fast. Past security there are 2 cafes, 1 restaurant and 1 Gregg's. Lots of seats. Clean bathrooms. Wifi. I wouldn't stay too long here so I suggest arriving 90 mins before. Public transportation isn't great

Cardiff is one of the best airports I’ve flown from - with lots of helpful staff and great selection of flights, this airport has improved loads of the years. Keep with them and support them. Long way to go, but there’s no better feeling than flying from and landing in Wales. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Best airport experience here. No long waits, very efficient and absolutely lovely staff! A very kind air stewardess gave us directions when we were lost and she just so happened to be on our flight to Faro and asked us if we wanted to move to the extra legroom seats as my husband is tall. There were lots of toilets at every stage we passed through, check in, security, the gates, etc. all very well cleaned and hygienic. The only negative is that the water bottle refill fountains were covered with bin bags but we the people in Costa kindly filled them up for us.

8 flights taking off on day of travel. parking is only a very short walk and only a brief drive from my home. always a top choice for me when flying albeit flights can be a bit more expensive than my other go to airports

We were a party of 4 there were due to fly out of Cardiff Wales Airport on the April 9th 2024. Two of our party had mobility issues and needed assistance through out the airport and to embark and disembark. The assistance staff at the airport were extremely helpful for our outbound flight and the inbound flight, helping us through check in and security, and then boarding the plane. The inbound flight disembark the assistance team were truly helpful even to the point of accompanying us through baggage claim and out of the airport to our taxi. We cannot thank the team enough for all their help they are a credit to Cardiif Wales Airport. Please accept all our thanks.

My recent visit to Cardiff Airport on 26th April going out and returned 5th of May from Gran canaria was very good except when we returned to Cardiff Airport we departed from the aircraft via the air bridge and when we enter the airport we have to negotiate the stairs? Up over down and around AGAIN, but I'm sure that people can address this problem for us. I think that this would be such a large improvement. I love to travel from Cardiff Airport.

Nice, efficient small airport with friendly staff. I don't use it very much as the range and times of direct flights are limited and work out more expensive than flying from Bristol, Birmingham or London. Also it's not very well connected via public transport and the range of parking options is limited. The airport is doing a lot to improve and expand though, with the new Doha route and the improved terminal.

We flew out yesterday afternoon, it’s a very small airport and being the off-season there were only three flights for the whole day. With it being so small you can get around easily. Greggs right before the security checkpoint, and the prices are pretty much the same as a normal shop. After that there is pub and a Costa Coffee, WHSmiths, and a duty free area. All the prices looked little above normal but not airport 50% mark up. There are water refill areas. I really enjoyed this airport.

Wish I could give more stars! My flight to Amsterdam was cancelled due to snow in Amsterdam. I was due to connect to another flight to the middle East so obviously missed that. The staff were so lovely and helpful. I was rebooked onto another flight the next day, that got cancelled, no problem, the lovely people at Cardiff Airport once again helped. Weirdly the act of a flight being cancelled was an enjoyable experience. Now I have a direct flight booked to my destination from another airport which they have sorted out transportation.

First thing to know is that bus 301 takes from the city center to the airport, it takes about 1hr 30 mins The airport is fairly small which helps to not get lost inside and to navigate easily in it. But also, not many shops can be found there, nor food and drink places, only a couple of options which didn't suit me. Overall, it's clean, decent and the staff are friendly.

Small airport. Only negative can check in bags only 2 hours before flight. So don't arrive really early. Security is straight forward and also flights generally head off on time.

Very easy to get to and park. Only a few flights departing on the day we were there (winter) which led to a relaxed and easy transition through the airport areas - check-in, security, gate etc. This led to loads of time to sit and take time over a drink. KLM to Amsterdam seems to be a perfect start of a journey anywhere in the world. Certainly highly supported by the Welsh government, worth using as much as possible to get value out of your tax payers money.
