We both enjoyed really tender steaks , cooked as requested , on steak club day (Tuesday , plus drinks ) for under Β£10 each .Staff were chatty. ,helpful and very courteous . Will most definitely return . Tables were swiftly cleaned when , vacated , and service was fast and efficient .
Good place to get some decent food at reasonable prices. Location. ... is a bit tricky but parking available.
absolutely love this weatherperson, excellent, amazing food, drinks, atmosphere xx
As a regular diner here with my family and friends. I have nothing but praise, establishment always clean and tidy, food up to standard but more importantly the staff are welcoming, attentive and efficient. Well done all!!
Great Wetherspoons. Lunch time visit. Very clean, very warm atmosphere, great service and take good food.
Be careful you don't miss the entrance to the car park when coming off the roundabout though.
The staff were very hospitable here and willing to chat.
Food was good and I enjoyed a jacket potato π with some h beef chilli and salad. For a drink I had the reliable Shipyard.
Nice outdoor terrace which could be improved with some hanging baskets.
An interesting interior with comfortable rooms and the large main one.
Interesting tribute to Welsh political figures
I visited with friends for a breakfast and a catch-up.
Like most of these chain pubs they a pretty soulless with a cut and paste menu and decorations. The same, quiet music is playing and even the seats are generic. I grew up visiting proper valley pubs and rugby clubs with weird, random but unique personalities so I don't really see the appeal with a weatherspoons as anything other than a big posh cafe that serves beer.
In your 'local' you can get a bit of small talk and banter with the staff but in these places they are blank faced robots with no personalities who probably don't know the regulars names or what they do for a living.
The breakfast was really good but I can't get past the cafe with beer feeling.
Quick service, using the app is the fastest option. Great value food, served hot and of good quality and portion size. Plenty of parking on my visit too. Fantastic provisions for social distancing, very clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful. It's always a pleasant visit here. Highly recommended.
Came here for breakfast with family, lovely pub. The toilets werenβt either up/down a flight of stairs which was a nice change, staff were nice food was slightly cold. Parking is tricky as itβs on a roundabout
Had onion rings and drinks here while waiting to collect someone. Forgot to register our car in the car park though and only realised when we left so we went back and spoke to a member of staff who said 'don't worry about it' but I am worried I'm going to get a fine. Anyone know if it will be OK and I won't get a fine.
Can't fault this place, it's a good example of a busy Wetherspoons, turning into car park can be a bit 'hairy' prepare for it and you'll be fine. Food, mainly breakfasts I've had, is tasty and cheap I think. Love it. Good coffee too.
Standard Whether spoons, decent fast food (small plates deal is always a win), cheap beers and good selection.

Very friendly staff
Happy to help with anything I only went there for unlimited coffee for Β£1.56 I managed 2 and half cups
I bought a pun badge for charity and I was told that π§ the badge was lonely and needed a home so I took 2 badges πππππππππππππ
I haven't eaten, nor have I experienced the atmosphere because I like to get served and head outdoors to the smoking area.
However, I have seen the food produced and the joy on the people's faces that get to tuck into their tasty treats. It's safe to say the food goes down a treat, just like a virgin at the end of school disco.
Great food and great price, find a table get the table number and your good to order
Didn't have any food just popped in for a quick drink friendly staff.
