I visited the CodFather as l was in the area and hungry after being in hospital all day. Very nice chips and Clarkies Pie . I will be back soon .
Lovely food, not the best piece of cod ive ever had, but good none the less. I will go back to try other things on the menu. Clean premises.
Nice big portion sizes and reasonably priced. The chips are everything you expect from a chippy. I'd have liked the fish a bit crisper, but for the cost it's hard to fault. My only issue is that the curry sauce needs a bit more flavour to it.

Friendly staff, fantastic food. Lost my wallet in there recently and despite one of them not being able to find it when I went in, I popped my head in the door the next day and they had kept it safe for me.

Great chips but it would have been nice if he'd told me the chips would be ready in 15 minutes before he took my money. I had a taxi waiting outside that I had to let go.
Always cook the fish fresh for you. Nice and friendly staff. Been going there for 20 years or more I only pop in occasionally and the staff always remember me
The best cod & chips money can buy,not too much batter & well worth waiting 7 mins for it to be freshly cooked, can't fault it.
