A warm welcome and great food. Recommend eating in and having the onion bhaji starter while you wait for your shishkebab on fresh naan.
Ive been going here for about a year now since early 2010. Great quality food, huge portions and very reasonable prices. You can eat in but pay take away prices. Possibly the best Indian I've ever been to.
I recently visited this restaurant for a quiet lunch and had a pleasant experience. The portion sizes are incredibly generous - my half baby chicken was more than enough food! While the chicken itself was good, I imagine some of the other menu items with more complex flavor profiles might be even better.
To my surprise, they even offered a complimentary sweet treat at the end of the meal, which was a nice touch. The service was friendly and attentive, especially considering it was a quieter time.
Overall, Abo Ali is a great option for those looking for a relaxed atmosphere and ample portions of Lebanese cuisine. I'd be interested in returning to try some of their other offerings!

We got the baby chicken and sides of rice and chips. Food was excellent - we enjoyed it so much that we forgot to take food pics before eating!
Would love to return to dine here as there is a lovely ambience.

The overall impression would be the exceptional quality, value for money and amount of food for what we ordered.
I’ve eaten here many times both in the restaurant and take out with friends and I love the food. My favourite the mixed grill despite being difficult to finish as I’m so full. They are good value for money, do great milkshakes and has a very relaxed atmosphere inside.

This is one of my favourite restaurants of all time!! I drive around 30 miles every time I want to come here and it’s so worth it!
I always get the lamb Kofta, it’s really good. I know the boneless chicken is amazing too. Every meal comes with a complimentary naan. The owner is such a nice person, he regularly gives us free baklava for dessert! Will forever recommend this place 10/10. There is a shisha place out the back as well if you fancy something different after food! Thank you x

Me and my husband decided to order from you. We chose the platter for 3 as we are big eaters. It was so amazing, food was piping hot so fresh and the portion was spectacular. I will definitely be ordering from you again. I’d advise you to order from them.

Went in for a collection last night absolutely fantastic unlike a normal greasy kebab this will leave you speechless everything is packed separate so you can add as little or as much sauce salad as you require.
Every element of the kebab from them pita to the salad was amazing service was quality and the smell of the coals was a nice touch knew it was going to be good from the minute we arrived
I had a medium sized meal, but I could of shared it , the meal size is very good

We have been a regular customer in this cafe restaurant for a good few years now. We never had a bad meal. The foods are cooked well and flavoursome with an excellent selection of fresh meat and fish. Their variety of fresh fruit shakes are to die for. The staff are very welcoming attentive,polite and couldn't do enough for you . The place is reasonably clean and has a friendly atmosphere. The owner always makes an effort to make the customers feel comfortable . We always have complimentary sweets after a meal. The prices are very affordable/ cheap for the portion and quality of the food . It is so good that we don't mind travelling 45minutes just to have a taste of their authentic Lebanese cuisine . Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices. The staffs were really outstanding as they were really communicative.
