Simply outstanding.
I hired the upstairs function room for my wife's 40th birthday party and I couldn't have asked for a better service, from booking to room to the stumble into the taxi...!
The function room, or The Sam Warburton Suite, was laid out perfectly for us and we were able to decorate hours prior to the event without a problem. The room is incredibly spacious, with a well stocked bar and plenty of space for potential entertainment. In this instance, we hired a DJ for the evening.
The buffet was simply superb - we opted for Buffet B, a delicious mix of hot food including Chicken Tikka Skewers, Nachos, Mini Toad in the Hole, Goujons, Pork Pie, breaded mushrooms and Chips, along with freshly made sandwiches. There was also a vegetarian menu for some of the guests which was very swiftly polished off!
The bar staff were also incredibly polite and helpful and a credit to the establishment.
Thank you very much to Jon and all the Deri staff who helped make my wife's party such a fantastic one. We very highly recommend the service for anybody wishing to book a party.
We had our works Christmas party here this week. 50 of us had a fabulous evening, and the food was absolutely to die for, the Christmas Buffet is 100% recommended by all of us. The disco went down a treat with the whole team. It was an added extra that we were also able to join in with the pub quiz- we will be returning on a Tuesday evening again soon! Arrived here today for food, fully expecting to sit outside with the dog. They only have a dog friendly area inside. Food was delicious. Great choices on the menu. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Was particularly impressed with the gin cocktails they do. Can’t wait to return.
Had a fantastic brunch this morning - food and atmosphere was so good we booked an evening meal here too with the family - food was amazing and the staff so friendly - we will be back �
Lovely beer, gorgeous roast dinner and profiteroles to die for! We will be back!
We visited this delightful pub yesterday, we all chose from the Christmas menu, 2 courses for a very reasonable £18.99.
The deli inn is so tastefully decorated, beautiful, homely and cosy with the low lighten and open fireplaces.
We were greeted warmly by staff who were all friendly, thanks Ainsley and Annmarie.
We were a table of 8 and our table was beautiful decorated with Christmas crackers and good quality red napkins.
The food was plentiful and delicious, so tasty, we will be returning, Highly recommend.
We had a very pleasant meal. Holly was very kind and attentive. She helped us order a taxi and made sure my elderly mother and myself knew the car. Thank you very much.
Nice little pub on the outskirts of Cardiff. Very homely feel to the place . Great variety of nice dishes to choose from . The sea bass fillets are amazing ❤️
The food cooked Aaron was amazing, the steak was unbelievable!! Servers are very attentive and lovely especially lily. Food arrived quickly and the drinks were lovely! Would recommend 100%
Very pleasant lunch - hot, fresh, arrived in good time. Helpful and friendly staff - would return. One improvement for me would be a separate handheld paper gluten free menu - to save having to refer to an app.
We have been using the Deri Inn (Rhiwbina Cardiff) since we moved to the area. Always have a friendly welcome from everyone (Rachel and Ainsley and the rest of the team are great). We frequently have eaten here and have always enjoyed it. Today (24/04/24) sees the launch of the new menu, so obviously we are here giving it a good. 5 Star guy's especially as there are new veggie options for the Boss👍😂. Needles to say we will be back to work our way through the new menu
I’ve been going to the Deri for years, but a lot more the past couple of months and it’s always fantastic. Went last night and tried their new menu; the chicken pie is amazing as is the tikka masala! All the staff are lovely and friendly as well. Highly recommend
We had the great leadure of being served by Rachel. She was AMAZING👍👍👍. Very courteous, polite, very efficient and served with delight and a great smile…
I will certainly visit the Deti again and hope to be served by Rachel. She made my Mother’s Day VERY SPECIAL and memorable.

Had a meal tonight with my wife. Atmosphere good as it was virtually full, food came on time and was excellent and not pricey. Thanks to the chef Sean, lovely nice, great pub.
Popped in for a drink while out walking. Waited a while for drinks, the lady had to ask if we had ordered drinks checking that we had before bringing them to the table.
Drinks were worth the wait, the best iced latte I've ever had!
We popped to The Derri (our local) tonight for some food. It was curry night, so we both ordered a curry. The food was reasonably priced and served quickly. It was hot and very tasty. We would definately recommend The Derri and we'll be coming again. The bonus was that because we regularly eat here, we received a 'New Year Beat the Winter Blues' discount off our food.

Love this pub, it has the most friendly and attentive staff. The food and drinks are great and the staff even better! Rachel is absolutely amazing, she is always there whenever we need anything and always takes the time to ask how we are! We always feel well looked after and super welcome, Rachel also always makes the effort to say hi to our dog which we love. The Deri is super dog friendly and family friendly, never disappoints.
Great service! I came with my grandfather last Monday and I think it was Stacey.. She was amazing, so nice and kind. Great personality to be working within that Industry.
Well…….it was the first time in ages my husband and myself had been out together. Our daughter had recommended The Deri Inn and had bought us Dine Out gift cards for Christmas. So we thought we’d give it a go. I’m so glad we did. The staff there are fab! The lovely lady who took my order (after me having a meltdown with the app and a brainfog moment where I forgot what we wanted), was a saint. I’d have even forgotten the drinks if she hadn’t reminded me 😂. We’ll definitely be back (so you can draw straws when you see us coming 😂). Oh, I almost forgot to say about the food 😂. We had garlic mushrooms, cheesy ciabatta bread (which I forgot the name of so said a garlic bread thing with cheese), mixed grill and posh fish and chips. Gorgeous. I would definitely recommend The Deri Inn not only for the food, but for the people who work there.
