Welfield Road is a haven for foodies with some great cafes, restaurants and a lovely bakery- Ty.melin.
Hidden in a small corner of Welfield Court arcade is Cafe du Chat Noir a little gem. Had an excellent lunch and coffee. Well worth a visit. Unfortunately only open for a few hours in the afternoon
Another small, hidden gem of the area. Authentic food, cozy interior and lovely people. Certainly must try if you're looking for something different for the breakfast time in Cardiff. Opens up a bit late at 9:30 though.
I wish this charming café was near where I lived. Great food lovely staff. I truly felt like I was back in France!
Finally managed to get here, and it was worth waiting for. A lovely croque madame for me with french onion soup for the boss. Might only have been lunch but can't wait to come back. Glad we rang in advance and reserved a table as numerous people were turned away as it was at capacity.
One of the best meals I have ever had fantasy food fantastic price perfect service highly recommend. The lamb roast and onion soup is some of the best I've ever had.
Lunch with friends first visit will eat there any time great food welcoming staff and lovely venue
I hate to rate this place because it's not big and if you all go there I wont get a table. Friendly family business. Great little French heavy cafe. Specials and generous portions. I love this place
Their mushroom soup was excellent. Very good collection of tea. Food in general is very good. Was a little disappointed with the French onion soup. Small lovely cafe something to keep in mind of you are taking babies and kids
The area is not very big, but there's a few tables outside as well. Good service and with cat as logos.
Food tastes good 👍 😋
Lovely, super friendly local cafe. Their Croque Monsieur is immense (and there's half a dozen variations). Also always got great specials on. Recommend their Sunday roast too.
