Great food, comfortable atmosphere on a week night, friendly staff and interesting range of beer and cider on the bar.
Really yummy food. I ordered just to see what it'd be like and was so happy! The sandwich was focaccia bread! Really delicious food. The only downside is that I'm hungry now (it's 12:30) and you're not open for delivery yet!
Staff were very lovely and welcoming! Definitely a place to grab my morning coffee from and looking forward to trying the food!
Perfect way to while away the afternoon. Loads of mini sliders to work our way through and the mac and cheese was immense!:)
I had the mac and cheese yesterday. It was lovely!! :)
Lovely, friendly staff and warm atmosphere. I'll be calling again soon.
Great small live music venue that holds around 1000 people. Several music events every month. There is a viewing balcony which gives pre booked priority to people that require access arrangements. Very reasonably priced bar with decent beers.
This was my first time to the Tramshed to see Rob Lamberti, as George Michael. A great venue and wherever you are you're not far from the stage. Bar and standing room only on the ground floor and another bar and seated area on the first. Great atmosphere and bar staff worked very hard. A fantastic venue and will be looking to go next time there's an act I want to see. Thanks for a great night
Great venue. Packed out for Livewire- The AC/DC Show. Absolutely 1st class show, great sound. Definitely going to go there again
I came here for my first ever gig. I had a little difficulty finding parking on a busy Saturday night but eventually got a space at Cardiff central railway station on dusk till dawn reduced price parking. The Tramshed was an easy ten minute walk. The venue is very well run with good security and a cloakroom which costs £2. The facilities are good. I had a fantastic evening arriving at 9pm and leaving at 1.30 am. I recommend this place whatever the event. Thumbs up from me. 😀
A great place for a smaller concert. We went to see Theory of a Deadman and there was ample room, a bar and a balcony to get a better view from.
Parking is easy there’s plenty of surrounding streets and we parked there for free. Easy to find and accessible for wheelchair users.
I have been to the Tramshed many times for varying events, it's a pretty perfect size space wise, balancing an intimate gig with space for a large enough space to create a great crowd atmosphere. There is also an upstairs balcony space which provides an unobstructed view for people with disabilities and their guests, the access seems really inclusive.
In my experience, the door staff, bar staff and security have always been very helpful when queried.
There is one caveat however; drinks here are expensive, I went to purchase a non-alcoholic beer today and was told it would be £6, which seemed a lot. Aside from this though, I do think it is a brilliant venue.
Tramshed is an iconic venue in Cardiff, hosting a wide range of events with all sorts of music performances taking place! I have even had a work evening here where our company rented out the venue.
The venue is of a decent size, I have never felt like it was overcrowded. It has a bar near the stage with a good selection of drinks along with large toilet facilities.
The sound here is also quite good, the venue seems to be well equipped acoustically.
What a brilliant venue, acoustics are excellent and the room size is perfect for 500 plus people with seating upstairs. Staff are excellent but the drinks are pricey.
Went to see Dirty Honey . My mate is on crutches and needed seats. Contacted Tramshed and told to book tickets and they'll sort it. What a smooth process. We arrived,I dropped him off at entrance. Security allowed him to wait for me to park up. We then had a place near front of Q. Names in door, escorted to elevator, then greeted upstairs, escorted to our seats. Alison and Bushra were excellent,as were all staff we encountered. Such a pleasant experience for my mate ,who finds it so difficult to get to gigs these days. We shall return.
Great venue. Went to watch Say She She and it was brilliant gig. The tramshed is an intimate venue with a good view for all, based on width of room. Both tramshed and ifor Bach firm favourites. Shame I have to travel 90 mins each way..
