Don't be fooled by its 'takeaway' appearance. This pakistani restaurant sells the best on the bone and off the bone curries that I have ever tasted. Prices are very reasonable. TIP: the owners observe Ramadan so the restaurant will be shut during the daily fasting period.
Delicious. Had a great meal. Looks like a standard takeaway but don't be fooled. Amazing food.
A well deserved 5 stars for quality of food. I spoke with Ahmed about the food I would like - a chicken biryani with plain madras sauce and a Chapatti. Chicken off the bone, of course - though Ahmed went to the trouble of explaining I could have had the chicken on the bone if I so wished.
He went to a great deal of effort to check exactly what I wanted or didn't want, and the resulting meal was beyond my expectations. I will certainly be going back there regularly. My search for a delicious Indian meal is over. Well done, Ahmed!
The food taste is nice and well cooked. Tables were not cleaned when arrived. They cleaned it later though.
Food taste is very good, it’s one the underrated restaurants but food is far better than any other Pakistani Restaurants in Cardiff. Only issue is short staffed, they don’t deliver, very less space to sit & eat, furnitures need to be replaced. If this restaurant upgrades itself then it will beat all other desi restaurants in Cardiff.
Tried this fantastic Pakistani restaurant for the first time and had a good outing. It is a typical Desi/ Indian subcontinent place with a wide range of options on the menu and is open till late night.
The restaurant is located on Corporation Road, a bit away from the City Centre, which makes it not a popular spot but is worth dropping by if one is passing this way. It's a not so fancy restaurant, but has enough tables for dine-in, friendly staff and good food.
Whatever we tried was well-cooked and tasty. Their menu had a wide range of both Vegetarian and Non-Veg options, all at reasonable prices.
We had a light meal -
“Spicy Karahi Chicken Fry” with naan, roti and “Karak Chai”. It came to a total of 20£ for two, which makes it 10£ per person for a decent dinner with a hot beverage.
The staff was friendly, and courteous. The ambience was decent, with clean tables and toilet. There's nothing fancy about this place, but it's good enough to spend some time to dine in for lunch or dinner. Parking by the road close to the road also won't be a problem, even during busy hours. Had a good overall experience.
My scores:

My verdict: It wouldn't come close to some other Desi restaurants in town, but it's a decent one, worth giving more than one try, given its value for money. Anyone with Desi Spicy taste palette would like it.

An oasis of authentic flavors awaits at Khyber Cuisine. From savory Paye to aromatic Haleem, each dish is a delightful homage to Pakistan. With impeccable service and a welcoming ambiance, it’s a must-visit for any food enthusiast.
Amazing food using fresh, cooked to order ingredients with personal recommendations from the owner / chef. This is a down-to-earth no-frills establishment but don't walk by, go in and enjoy.

A Flavorful Journey: Exploring Khyber Cuisine's Nahari
Nahari, a quintessential dish of Khyber cuisine, encapsulates the rich culinary heritage of the region in a single bowl. Recently, I had the pleasure of experiencing the authentic Nahari at Khyber Cuisine, and it was an unforgettable gastronomic journey.
From the moment the dish arrived, the aroma of exotic spices filled the air, foreshadowing the delight to come. The Nahari boasted a tantalizing blend of slow-cooked tender meat, typically beef or mutton, infused with a symphony of traditional spices like cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The meat was so succulent that it practically melted in my mouth, a testament to the meticulous cooking process.
What truly sets Khyber Cuisine's Nahari apart is its velvety texture and robust flavor profile. The gravy, simmered to perfection, struck a delicate balance between spicy and savory, with each spoonful offering a harmonious explosion of taste. The depth of flavors was further enhanced by the inclusion of bone marrow, which lent a luxurious richness to the dish.
Accompanied by freshly baked naan bread, the Nahari provided the perfect canvas for savoring every nuance of its complex flavors. The soft, pillowy texture of the naan complemented the hearty nature of the dish, creating a culinary synergy that left me craving for more.
Moreover, the attention to detail in the presentation was commendable. The Nahari was served piping hot in an earthenware bowl, adding an authentic touch to the dining experience. The generous garnish of freshly chopped cilantro and ginger added a burst of freshness to the dish, elevating its visual appeal.
In essence, Khyber Cuisine's Nahari is not merely a meal but a sensory experience that transports diners to the vibrant streets of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. With its unrivaled taste and impeccable execution, it stands as a shining example of the culinary mastery that defines the region's gastronomy.
Whether you're a connoisseur of Pakistani cuisine or simply seeking an unforgettable dining experience, Khyber Cuisine's Nahari is a must-try delicacy that promises to tantalize your taste buds and leave you yearning for more.
We had haleem, chana dal, roti, chapli kebab. Food was hot, fresh, good, very tasty and delicious. The only thing is they took more than 45 minutes to prepare the food but it was amazing.
Sometimes all you crave is authentic pakistani delicious desi food, With oven hot traditional naan, I forgot I was in cardif. It's not a fancy restaurant, seating is limited, needs repair etc. To me what matters is Flavour , generous serving at a great price...that was outclass, so for me 5 star. If your are around cardif looking for desi food, this place is highly recommended. Serving our order took time but once wok and naan arrived it was worth the wait. Person taking order was nice&friendly young guy. We had complimentary kheer that was delicious. now we will be driving to grangetown just to savor the flavors. I hope they will improve other things n keeping flavors and service intact.
