Glad I came, they were open for lunch when no one else and the food was also good. Loved the keema naan and the aloo paratha was also good and the mango lassi was just what we needed (although there should've been an option for with or without ice as we wouldn't have chosen ice). As you came in, there were complimentary popadoms with 4 yummy sauces (chilli, mint chutney, mango chutney and achaar) and also water provided straight away. Lots of options on the menu including pizza and authentic Pakistani food, desserts, and an array of lassis, milkshakes and even dood pati/chai on offer.

Lovely customer service and delicious food. Served us even though we arrived 30 mins before closing time. The curry and starters were amazing.
Eaten from here 4 times in the last month and it's good. The food is much better than the competitors but the service is slow as the don't have enough staff so the mistakes they make will lose them customers sadly

hospitality and seating is great. One of the waiters wasn't the brightest but just have to instruct him everything you need done. Bless his efforts though lol.
Amazing food. Loved the samosa chaat, a must try! Boys loved their food. But need to improve on service a little, such as salad providing and little bibs and Bobs. Other than that it was such a pleasure to have had lunch there.
Hubby and I had a fab Lunch using our Groupon Voucher It was really lovely food and service We had The Hungry Lunch meal and Fruit Milkshake and Banana Milkshake! Can't wait to back and we'll take the kids next time! Thank You very much Masala! X
Food was delicious, we tried the desi breakfast (hulwa poori and chicken paratha) it was so yummy we went there again for dinner! For dinner we got Russian salad, mixed shaslik, chicken karahi everything was made fresh 👌definitely recommended will go again best Pakistani food in Cardiff, was a bit of a wait for the food but it was totally worth it for the quality, taste and price.
Amazing breakfast at an amazing price
We were looking for a Halwa Poori restaurant in Cardif on a Sunday morning. We found Masala on City Road. Halwa poori was excellent. we also had aloo paratha and keema parathas they were very good. Good service and to my surprise this place had a coffee machine and served proper coffee. Reasonably priced, tasty food and excellent service. Look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Cardiff.

Excellent staff - especially the boss man who runs tings at the front. Great authentic Pakistani food. I would personally recommend going for their breakfast!!
Food was really nice. Cardiff has been missing a place like this. Reasonably priced and family friendly. Staff were pleasant but service could do with some improvement.
Great restaurant. I ordered their tikka and tandoori (fresh, good portions, great marinade) and also their halwa puri (the channa especially was great). Will definitely be returning to try their Ramadan buffet. Highly recommend.
