Warm and friendly greetings when I went to place my order at the till.
Clean and tidy dining space.
Cutlery and napkin was promptly brought to my table followed by my ½lb Monster Burger with chips, salad and delicious home made coleslaw (I assume home made, it was proper fresh and tasty 😋)
I can just see a lot of pride and care was put into this dish. The whole cafe is packed with character and love from the family running it.
Cutlery clean and hand dried; beautiful Orchids and plants aligned along the windows, spotless and no dust.
Great selection of soft drinks from the two fridges, had a warm farewell from the lady as I left.
Lovely experience coming here. I felt welcomed and looked after.
Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area.
A group of 10 of us came here to line our stomachs before a festival and the service and food was next level.
It was a celebration for my partners 40th birthday and they (especially Stacey) couldn’t have made the beginning of our day anymore special.

What a fantastic, down to earth, place this is. Extensive menu with all the classics. We ‘pimped’ our full English order by getting cheese on toast with extra bacon, egg, sausage and hash brown instead of the set breakfast. The food came SUPER-quick and was plentiful and really tasty. The staff were also friendly, approachable and knowledgeable.
Can’t recommend highly enough for a relaxed, delicious brunch!
Saffron café is such a little Gem of a place in canton. Amazing service. Stunning café classics with a Turkish twist (feta special panini is 10/10 as is the Turkish omlette). Never have I ever regretted a cheeky saffron café experience. I work in Ponty but we regularly drive over here with our clients as they love it. Thanks Saffron! Xxxxxxx

I went in today and the owners wanted to scare me and put balloons up and they kept bursting and I spilt my coffee . If they didn't like me why didn't they just tell me to leave. I have lost my memory since lock down and its not my fault I am mentally disabled now .

Very affordable and reasonably priced. Huge portions of delicious food. Very friendly and attentive service. Husband and I are both vegetarians, and we were thrilled with the options for us. Definitely going back.

Didn’t come in to eat any food, my pack lunch exploded in my bag and the waitress was so nice that she cleaned the whole thing free of charge!
