First time I've been here & I wasn't sure if it was table service or you had to order at the counter,I ordered a cheese & onion omelette, the service was fairly quick as it was at lunchtime with a fair few people at the tables. Lovely friendly lady with a pony tail is an asset to this cafe. The meal was lovely & I will be coming back soon as Iive locally.
Had a lovely lunch here as always. One of my favourite hidden gems in canton. Staff are friendly and efficient. Food always comes quickly and piping hot. Salad and chips are crisp and and fresh.
10/10 well worth the visit.

1st time visiting Care Fresco. Have the set breakfast, excellent value for the price with a lovely Latte. Food freshly cooked and piping hot. Staff were very attentive, friendly and efficient. What more can you ask? Swapped my egg for my friends black pudding.

Great cafe. Good Value for your money, the food is generally cooked well and tastes good. Can be slow on busy days but staff are always kind and welcoming
I really enjoyed my English breakfast here. It was my first one in 4 years and it did not disappoint. The service was great and it was a comfortable place.
It's a bit untidy (found a fish moth walking around), but for a good cheap breakfast it's not bad.
I'm knocking 1 star in the hopes that you will clean more thoroughly next time, as it kind of kills my appetite when I see insects crawling around!
Other than that, the breakfasts always have good portions, they're hot, and well-priced. Thanks =)
I've edited my review. I gave 3 stars before because I had quite a few instances in a row of my order being incorrect. Recently though there has been a massive improvement and it's it's no longer an issue. Great service and great value food. If I have one criticism though.. when a multiple people order breakfast they bring everyone's toast out all on one plate. It's weird. Especially when there are a few of you.
Good food, good coffee and a nice clean atmosphere. Top conversation with the waitress on the state of the planet at the moment made it!

The best cooked breakfast i have had in a very long time. Good value for money well spaced out and plenty to eat. A varied menu as well. Will definitely visit again
Great food nice place just been revamped
I had been on an early shift and working all day when I had a flat tyre in Cardiff. I was knackered and hungry so I walked down to a a nearby main road to look for somewhere to get something to eat. I only ordered a bacon sandwich, but it also came with some chips and a bit of salad, which I wasn't expecting but I was very grateful for. It was outstanding.
My favourite place in cardiff for a cooked breakfast and they do the best cheese omelette! Reasonable prices too
Chicken curry was delicious, friendly service, cafe was spotless.

Always great quality food, good portion sizes, excellent staff and clean cafe. The addition of being able to park at the back is a huge bonus! Has become my go to cafe now.
