Went down here for a meal tonight. Really impressed with the quality of the food. Their onion rings are to die for. 'Gourmet Gorro' and Miles & Boon recommended.

Awesome burgers. Rivals all the main high street burger places at a fraction cost. Seriously recommend. The chips were the best.

Only went there for the food after seeing photos on Instagram and that was a great decision. I had the best onion rings of my life and the burgers were lush too, so much better than in many expensive so called burger places. In addition it's all organic and the whole skatepark atmosphere was very cool even though we know nothing about skateboarding!

S&S are incredible and we are so proud and privileged to have been their first wedding! Nia and Chris couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful, welcoming, flexible and accommodating in their approach to our wedding and we all had an amazing time. All the staff were amazing and pulled out all the stops and it’s a fantastic venue. Thank you so so so much, Emina and Matt xx

Absolutely fab place for kids, much better and more reasonable than a soft play centre if they enjoy skateboarding or being on their scooters both my 2 & 5 year olds really enjoy it here

Really awesome park this place is how I remember skate parks used to be when I was younger and the atmosphere was so chilled worth the 1 1/2 hour travel

Awesome place! Visited as the last stop on a skate tour of Cardiff as we’d heard good things about the food, so saved it for tea time. Didn’t disappoint, the burgers were fantastic and the skatepark is very nice. Staff were lovely - really welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Cardiff. We went to several of Cardiff’s skate spots and this was our favourite.

Next time you’re heading to McDonalds on Newport Road, why not walk another twenty metres up the road and check out Spit & Sawdust instead? The folks at this quirky social enterprise (comprised of an indoor skate park, art space, shop and café) are grilling burgers that would test the loyalties of even the Hamburglar. And, they barely cost a penny more than those at the Golden Arches. Spit & Sawdust’s café is a relaxed and friendly kind of place - when I arrived at midday on a Saturday I was faced with the aftermath of a kids party. It’s also a bit baltic so you might want to bring a coat and woolly hat.  Having ordered from the dedicated burger menu, which includes a couple of very interesting veggie options, I sipped a can of San Pellegrino aranciata and waited for my food.  The Burger – Classic with cheddar 1. How was the patty? A flavour-packed, golden-crusted, well-seasoned organic beef patty topped with a decent ooze of cheddar. Served well done, it would have benefited from a little less time on the grill. 2. How was the bun? A soft and sweet toasted brioche bun from Allen’s bakery in Roath . The burger:bun ratio however was a little off. 3. How was the other stuff in the bun? Shredded lettuce and finely sliced onion and tomato brought the freshness to the party.

We were able to take our boys on their small bikes on a selected time on a Sunday. The boys did enjoy it but for myself I don't think it suited bikes at all even though they let them. Very skateboard on scooter orientated. That's fine though as it's a great place for that Love the character of the place, very rustic looking. Quite quirky. Staff were nice Plenty of parking Coffee was very good and strong.

A hidden gem tucked away off Newport road. Decent sized indoor skatepark with an outdoor vert halfpipe. The cafe is good with decent food options (burgers, baps and pancakes). There is also a nice outdoor seating spot in the summer with flowerhorn on tap. 🔥

Excellent skate park! Fantastic, homely café that has a great vegan range. Had one of the best oat milk lattes from here and there was no added cost for alternative milk, which is how it should be.

This park is quality but for some reason they coach kids on a Saturday morning regardless of how busy it is. It would make more sense to open earlier to ensure that new and experienced users can both use the parks effectively. Great coffee too.

Recently had a refurb of the park. It's a great layout and the bowl is *chef's kiss*. The cafe is really good too, with great burgers and friendly staff. If you've got kids the Sunday morning toddler takeover is a good choice but it gets really busy so don't expect to be riding or skating with them.

really nice skatepark, fairly accessible as a cane user (though can't speak on the bathrooms as I didn't go while I was there). staff are super friendly and helpful. super reasonable prices for helmet hire, I only paid £2 for a 3 hour session.

What a great space the guys have created. My 7 yo loved it. The food is out of this world, burgers were actually made in the kitchen and we're to die for, as were the chips. Lovely, lovely place.

Dropped my daughter this evening. Fantastic place. Good parking. Warm, relaxed and friendly environment. Staff very helpful and nice. Teaching with positive reinforcement. Kids were really having a good time despite the occasional harmless tumble. Good choice of food and drink for the waiting parents. Covid rules adhered to. Highly recommended...

This place was awesome. Nice vibe, super lovely staff and some great facilities to boot. Took my 8 and 10-year old for the shreducation session during half term and they loved it. Despite being over an hour away the trip was well worth it and we will be back soon!

It's a fab place and not just for scooting and skateboarding! Great coffee, even better bacon rolls and the burgers and chip are fab. It's simple and straightforward but good quality food. The place itself is also simple, no airs or graces but wholesome and welcoming. If you're in the area for lunch, then drive past McDonald's and KFC and come here instead. You won't be disappointed 😊

Absolutely banging, everyone is super nice and welcoming, the park is one of a kind and really unique with a great DIY feel you get no where else. Food is excellent, low cost, great portion sizes and delicious with good range of vegan options. Drinks are also cheap and love the vegan milkshakes. Hope this place lasts for ever!
