Beautiful place, great location, very close to town centre, but great to be away from the noise. Rooms are beautifully furnished. Great bar area and the food was amazing. Really tasty and high quality. We were luck enough to be there with beautiful weather so took advantage of the lovely outdoor seating area.we tasted their own brand gin, Infusion 73, and bought a bottle to bring home too. Thanks for a great stay..will definitely be returning
Where do I start, the staff the food everything was perfect.
We had a vow renewal meal here in the orangery, everyone was so professional nothing was too much trouble. We booked a room which was stunning, decorated to the highest boutique standard. A little bit of small luxury in this fine establishment. Thank you for making my parents day and night so special. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended. Thank you again for everything.
Had my daughter's baby shower there today. Was lovely. Some had afternoon tea some had tapas with bottomless gin or prossco. We all had a great time. Lovely venue and great service especially by Shauna who attended to our every need.
Arguably the best quality to cost ratio for food in Cardiff. Menu was limited the night I visited but I was warned beforehand. Menu was tapas style, not extensive but a good range. Portion size was good and food quality was consistently excellent. 6 good sized tapas plates, two glasses of wine and a dessert for £20 a head is excellent value. Service was good, food came quickly and staff checked regularly but disappeared when it was time to pay which was frustrating and only reason I haven't put it as 5 (I'd like to have gone 4.5!)
Unexpected late booking at a great price. Located about 20 mins walk from station and much closer to all the stadiums it was a excellent little find. Nice personal welcome from reception, fully stocked bar with a focus on gin which apparently served all hours. Room was an absolutely delight, spacious very stylish and comfortable...I had a walk in shower, slightly odd but amazing bath in the lounge area as well as seating, dinning table and huge bed. Recommended!
Wow what can I say..... what a beautiful hotel. Could not fault anything about the place. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Myself and my mum said for one night to watch Ed Sheeran and the hotel is in perfect location the the stadium and town centre. When we arrived back from the town in the evening we were greeted by the most lovely helpfully night porter who went out of his way to ensure we were happy. He was lovely and kept myself and my mum company while we had a few hours of drinking. The night porter was so happy friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. You can tell he enjoys his job and is extremely professional.
The gin lunch was an amazing experience. The liqueur they make in their own distillery is something else, highly recommend. Staff is really helpful and considerate. Had a great afternoon, in one of the bubbles.
Went to Cathedral 73 for bottomless gin and Tapas. It was delicious. The staff were so helpful and really friendly, can't fault them at all. Would definitely do it again. Great value for money and they didn't rush us at all. Xxxx
We booked the 90 mins Cocktails and Tapas experience for Friday evening 9th August at a cost of £29 per person. What an amazing experience! The food was fabulous and plentiful and the cocktails just kept coming!!! Huge thanks to Sean and Debbie who looked after us, it was a fabulous evening xxxxxx
Date of stay: August 2019
It is a beautiful B&B, more posh than we had expected. It was mildly inconvenient that our bedroom was on the floor above all the other rooms, including the bathroom. Breakfast was good, but lacking fresh fruit, which we found available in other B&Bs we stayed in. Nice location, though, and we enjoyed the very fine Italian restaurant that was conveniently located just across the street from Cathedral73.
This place is an absolute gem. Stunning rooms lovely staff and a very chic relaxed environment. The food was fantastic and our stay really made our weekend complete. The hotel itself is set back fron the the busy part of cardiff but still a stones throw from the castle, shops and the stadium. I would highly recommend a visit if your needing somewhere to stay.
In the very hart of the Capital City of Wales but also feels like your in the subberbs of an afuent area next to a stunning Central Park. The location is perfect!!
Away from the city centre but still close enough to walk into town. The hotel is a very large town house and now an independent boutique hotel. I have had the enjoyment for staying a few times, for business & leassure in different rooms & apartments, all to the highest standard. Staying with my partner for a quiet time to hosting my buissness annual party . So all my staff could stay and enjoy their evening without the worries of getting home. The bedrooms and bath/shower rooms are to the highest standard. Breakfast the following day was excellent and if I wasn’t full up I would of been happy to carry on. Again I enjoyed staying at the hotel, just last week, I stayed with my partner in the superior king size bedroom and one of their appointments. The very highest standard which is repeated in every bedroom, bathroom & showerroom. to the highest recommendation, and also more important: looking forward to staying again!. The staff and management are really friendly too!! 🙂👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
