The Owain Glyndwr - Cardiff - Photo album

If you're in Cardiff and need a break from shopping, the Owain Glyndwr bar is the perfect spot. This friendly pub serves up hearty, filling food that hits the spot. I tried the steak and ale pie, and it was delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to unwind with a dri
Great atmosphere amazing food... Best cider ever, Welsh Warriot!
Pretty decent pub. Always seems lively, plenty of screens for sports, does a decent pint of Guinness and good cider. Staff are friendly. Had some small plates for the first time tonight, loved the scampi and chicken tenders, excellent value for money
This was a fantastic pub for me and my friend to go drinking at, with a vintage style that the lights and bar contribute to! The Welsh flag is also a neat addition, the staff were friendly and we shared a cocktail on the offer, sitting comfortably at a clean table.
Always enjoy stopping here whilst doing a bit of retail therapy, always great atmosphere when I walk through the door, staff are always polite and professional. Food here is absolutely wonderful, plenty to choose from
We visited one of the oldest pub in Cardiff. It was crowded with people who came to watch rugby on the day, but there were enough seats luckly. I like the atmosphere, but did not try any foods so I will try it next time.
What a great pub near the heart of Cardiff's eating district. Extensive menu which seems reasonably priced - we opted for the 5*small dishes to share and were not hungry or disappointed. Easy going staff, comfortable seating and plenty of tables to choose from.
Popped in here on a busy weekend and the place was full to busting. Great atmosphere but we didn't stay as we wanted a table and food. Popped in the next day and had full breakfasts for 3 with drinks and spent under £25 which was great value. Food was good, standard breakfast and plenty of sauces p
Been here a handful of times and never a problem. Actually sat with a beer upstairs and watched baseball. God I miss my baseball! Tried to explain it to my friend but not sure he got it. Cool place to watch football on a weekend as well and a pool table. Never packed either. I like that.
Absolutely loved it! Just normal great Welsh atmosphere! I am glad that we landed here today! Good prices and a large option of food for vegetarians or not! Kids meals and proper Welsh beer 🍺! Professional service and clean! Good to see the rugby or football or other sports. Big enough for large eve
Not bad, good laid back vibe and nice bartenders. Live music on Friday nights was a fun touch but definitely seems like more of a sports place.
A really great pub loads of locals were chatty nice friendly and very reasonably priced compared to other pubs in the area. The food was reasonable too. I will definitely look forwards to returning next time I'm in Cardiff.
Busy well placed large sports pub on two levels. Huge function room on second level. Multiple TV screens. Wide selection of beverages. Average prices. Good atmosphere.
A M A Z I N G! We come from London on a day trip and found this gem of a pub. Came in with my puppy and I ordered the most amazing vegan burger. Very clean, really nice and friendly staff... Definitely coming back to this place next time I visit Cardiff ❤️
Love this place!! But abit upset as I'm short and staff served 2 customers before me .... anyway ordered hot wings and loved them! Hot but with flavour aswell as spice 🔥🔥
My favourite pub in Cardiff! Such friendly staff, the service is speedy and amazing. Food is always a 10/10. Absolutely perfect. Just a warm welcoming atmosphere to be in. Visit every time I'm in Cardiff. ♥️
