I have eaten here several times over the last few months. The quality is good, prices are very competitive and the staff are lovely.
I also hired the venue yesterday, privately, for a small work function for 6 people.
The owner, Peter, served a delicious vegan chilli and meat curry with all the sides and dips we needed followed by a tasty dessert. All of my guests went away full, happy and glad that I had showed them a new venue.

This place is such a cosy retreat on a busy road and so, different from the usual cafes here in Cathay's.Staff are friendly and the food is quality.I had afternoon tea here for my birthday and I so highly recommend it,was perfect:)
Great place to eat, no cutting corners on the food here. The breakfast was amazing and the staff are super friendly. Will definitely be calling in here next time we pay our Son Tom a visit 👍

Excellent place! Took my daughter's for a morning in the park then popped in for a fantastic lunch, food and staff were amazing, friendly and very accommodating with our massive pram.

I ordered a full Welsh breakfast and it had all the best pre wrapped cutlery, thanks staff!!!! The food was boiling ESPECIALLY THE EGG and we could have ate it off the table it was so clean. Massive breakfast, much better than stag (which is shit and more expensive)!
So I went to Arty's kitchen for a cooked brekky this morning with two friends and we were all blown away, seriously excellent grub! We all chose the large welsh breakfast and it was gastrabulous! Thick thick bacon, wonderful sausages, home made beans, the bubble and leek was a cheesy surprise. All in all, I say 5/5. I'm still full to the brim three hours later!
Lush food, atmosphere, service and really well priced. We'll definitely be coming back :)
Lovely new little cafe just by the lights on Crwys road.
Warm and friendly - had a gorgeous lunch of avocado, eggs and smoked salmon all in a lush marinade of chilli and lime. Good luck to Peter (and Matthew), I'm sure this venture will be a great success!

Been here a few times and it's always fantastic! Food was incredible; well cooked with fresh ingredients and staff were very accommodating when I asked to switch an item on the breakfast. Coffee made was fantastic and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
Awesome food, Lovely service, local and homely. Well recommended. I was surprised at how much the chef made this beautiful local cafe feel like and taste like an expensive restaurant. You will definetley like it. Very highly recommended. Dont miss the lovely home made cakes & vast selection of cofees & teas. As well as the very yummy menu.

My sister recommended this fabulous little place to me, and today was my first visit. I loved it! After I arrived and sat at a table, I noticed another customer having what looked like a very tempting berry-coloured smoothie, so I asked for one of those. It was delicious, and extremely moreish, so I had a second one. I also had the veggie breakfast, starring halloumi, thyme and tomato bake, which was excellent. Totally my kind of place.
Great little place for breakfast. Nice decor, great atmosphere, friendly and attentive service and, above all, good food that is well-priced. There isn't a huge menu, but it's a small place that cooks food to order. I'm always wary of places that have masses of choice as they likely reheat a lot of plates. We arrived at 9am on Sunday (as they opened) to get a table. It was nearly full by 10am

Only started going the last few months but it's very nice in here and very relaxed. You always seem to get speedy service with a smile which is always important. So far I've only had a flat white which tastes lovely and looks decorative on top. So no complaints will keep going here.
We arranged to surprise my daughter on her birthday at this cafe - the staff were completely accommodating with our requests and were so friendly about it too. The food was delicious and the service impeccable - I would recommend this venue and their partner venue The Pot Bistro to anyone wanting a fabulous dining experience and a very warm welcome.
