Awesome vegan food and quite a large selection. Thanks for offering vegan choices :) lovely service as well❤️❤️❤️
I enjoyed my Father’s Day lunch. Good service but a little disappointed to find the company takes 25% of the tips off the staff.
Excellent food. Welcoming staff and fantastic location. Caters for all with an extensive choice for vegan diners. Will definitely go again *****

Excellent food and excellent staff. Not rushed and will go again
Came down on a single day trip to Cardiff with a couple of friends. Visited Cardiff bay as it is one of the best things to see in town. The sun was shining bright and Zizzi seemed like a fabulous place to have lunch. With the sun glaring through its Windows and the fresh ambiance of the restaurant just made us feel very comfy. The waiter took our order in a jiffy and about 9 of us ended up ordering a good amount. I ordered the chicken Risotto which tasted good with a garnishing of cheddar cheese and a dash of chilli oil. My friends ordered their Pasta and one of them ordered the pizza (only took a picture of that one). Overall, a good meal. Value for money was fine for the place we were sitting at and eating good Italian.
Went on a sunny Sunday afternoon, was not too busy which was nice. Service very attentive and efficient.
Food was excellent, included salads, pasta, pizzas, and my own choice which was salmon and pesto risotto followed by lemon and blackcurrant cheesecake.
Quite honestly, I could've eaten twice the amount but that's just me and because it was so tasty — portions are sensible sizes especially for a lunch.
Zizzi is a bit more 'upmarket' than other Italian-based chains but the pricing isn't bad at all for what you get. A nice treat anyway although if I had the money I'd spend a few months working my way through the whole menu!
Great vegan lasagna option (I believe it's called the rainbow lasagna)! And I loved the crispy paprika noodle chips. It can get really busy here so make sure you have a reso if you don't want to wait for a table.
Lovely spacious restaurant, a good amount of seating, extremely clean and tidy with excellent decor. A lovely menu and specials board available. Food and drink arrived quickly and was a good temperature and taste. Waitress Natalie was very friendly and more than helpful throughout the stay. The toilets we're a very high standard and it was refreshing to see hand lotion available too. There are other dishes I'd like to try on the menu, so will be calling again very soon. Highly recommended. 10/10.
we visit the restaurant regularly and always impressed by the quality of food ,the kindness of staff and the professionalism of the Manger Ali who always go out of his way to accommodate our needs and make sure we are enjoying our visit to the restaurant .Thank you so much .We will be back .i will share some of our favourite dishes at Zizzi Cardiff Bay .
Service was very good.
We had the pasta crisps, burrata caprese and arancini starters, all were very good.
My partner had the sticky pig pizza; a little burnt and toppings weren't placed evenly but not bad overall. I had the crispy pancetta carbonara which was lovely.
The desserts weren't great; I had the brownie sundae, the chocolate ice cream had a strange taste which I didn't like. My partner had the chocolate bombe; this was awful... Tasted raw with a weird after taste, he sent this back and had the lemon meringue sundae which he really enjoyed.

First time at Zizzi Cardiff Bay so had to check it out.
As it was a Tuesday evening it was easy to be seated as Zizzi wasn't busy so no having to wait to be seated.
The server was attentive and pleasant when taking our orders and when asked things about the food that she didn't know the answer to (In this case the types of cheese in the melted cheese starter due to one of our party having certain cheese allergies), she went away and found the answers.
The food was amazing.
While waiting for our starters to arrive, we were given complimentary pasta crisps for the table.
I ordered the garlic bread with Mozzarella starter and have to say not only was it a meal in itself, it was cooked to perfection.
For my main I had a rustical meat Sofia and it was very filling.
I can highly recommend this pizza if you are reading this and wondering what rustic pizza to have a try.
All in all, a great experience in a great area of the country.
Had a lovely pizza here, they are relly massive and tasty, great location overlooking the bay especially at night with all the christmas lights. Service was great too.
Great location and fantastic food.
The restaurant is now a cashless establishment.
The restaurant also offers speedy ordering with menus that have QR codes.
The meal was also very reasonably priced as the restaurant is part of the taste card scheme ( roughly £20 pp for a starter, mains and cocktail).
Tonight I've been to Zizzi Cardiff Bay restaurant. Even if it was very busy the service has been excellent and the food delicius!
Very well situated in Mermaid Quay, a 10 min walk from Cardiff Bay station. Good views from first floor restaurant and a wonderful location overall. Food and drinks were great, staff very welcoming and overall a nice atmosphere. Only let down was the slow service and heat in the restaurant. Otherwise a great place for a meal and drinks!
Not normally a fan of big chains, but Zizzi bucks that thought. Great food, good service. One small critique is that drinks orders are always very slow, but not enough to spoil the occasion.
Zizzi is obviously a chain offering Italian inspired food. The menu has a wide variety of starters, pizzas, pastas and risottos. There is a nice drinks menu as well. The food arrived quickly and it was nice and tasty. The lasagne is delicious. The pizza is nice and thin, the proper Italian dough. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Zizzi is perfect for a relaxed meal with family and friends. Overall a nice experience.
