Wonderful little place, we sat outside in the sunshine with our drinks and the atmosphere was wonderful. We were served quickly and ordered via the qr code, meaning we didn't need to leave our table at all. Our server was really friendly and gave us everything we needed for our order.

Such a lovely gem in the centre of Cardiff. The food never fails to disappoint, and there’s so many lovely cocktail options to our with the food. All the staff are warm and friendly, adding to the whole vibe of the pub. Really recommend this place!

Now it's the O'Neils! it was fantastic, beef, Mac 'N' jack was really Good ,as you can see meal devoured lol. Plus free ice cream and fudge cake for the review, happy days xxx
I absolutely love coming to this place . The staff are always friendly and attentive. The food is fantastic and really reasonable in price. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cardiff for the day or anyone local. Way better than Wetherspoons on value for money and a definite thumb
Came in for a pint on a sunny day, very convenient location right by the market. Beer tastes very clean and properly poured by Brenda, plenty of spaces for families during the day as well.
This cosy pub seems to now be trading under the O'Neill's banner, but make no mistake, it's definitely worth a visit.
Friendly staff, good selection of options for all tastes from vegan to carnivore, (we opted for the Guinness pie and 3*starters) plenty of different beers, and very well priced comp

I love the lunch and drink offer. Plenty of variety. Generous portions. My family had the 7oz# Gammon steak, fish & chips and the jerk chicken flatbread. The cucumber and mint dressing was gorgeous and the sweet chipotle chili jam was tasty. We did have to buy a second drink each because of the wait
I visit the Old Market Tavern approximately twice a week. Sometimes just for drinks other times for lunch as well. Friendly staff and good service. Lunch from their lunch menu is exceptional value. Highly recommended

Amazing service from all members of staff. Such a great atmosphere and music really fit the vibe. Will definitely be returning for more food very soon as it was banging.
