I love this place and sometimes there food is gorgeous but once our twice it was not the best. It's always busy though and they cater to large bookings for celebrations. Nice beer and a hidden garden at the back which will be fab for us in summer.
Bit dismayed on arrival that they had no record of our booking on their system, although I'd booked online and had text and email confirmations, all correct. Luckily, there were tables free. Celebrated our friend's birthday here. Staff were lovely and friendly and the service was quick. They didn't rush to ask us to vacate our table after our meal and were accommodating with the birthday cake. Nice atmosphere too.

Came here for a meal with the family to celebrate my sons 18th birthday. The staff were all amazing,nothing was too much trouble. One of them decorated the cake before bringing it out. All were so friendly,offering to take photos too.

A busy pub, on a Wed evening, but having experienced their service & food I can understand why. Our waiter was Brett & his customer service throughout was friendly & helpful. A return visit (I don't live in Cardiff) is definitely on the cards 😊

Got to say how impressed I am for the young girl working Friday night . Her name was imogen and was literally everywhere doing all jobs. Very efficient and plesant and a pkeasure to watch her enjoying her job also kieran and our beautiful Brett on the bar always polite and ready to pour our drinks

This was a family get together of about 20 people for my sons birthday. We did the same last year and we will very likely do the same next year. the service, staff, atmosphere is lovely, we all had a lovely time
