I have always enjoyed breakfast here. It is a very reasonable price. I particularly liked paying for a cup and helping yourself to as much tea and coffee as you want. The atmosphere here is relaxed and it is nice to look out over the bay The only downside is that the toilets are located upstairs so if you are physically challenged this might be a problem. The service was second to none with the food arriving very promptly after ordering. I love breakfast here, generally cheaper than most of the hotels in the bay area. All in all a good experience.

What an amazing setting and building with loads of industrial caricature. The staff were really welcoming and helpful, the fiod i must say was fabulous and tasty which was amazing value for money as always with weatherspoons so was the beer. With good parking facilities and also access for all abilities, even giving wheelchair users the opportunity to access the waters edge along the walkway throughout Mermaid Quay.

Quite a large spoons with upstairs seating along with plenty of outdoor seating when the weather would be nice. Ordered through the app as usual and the drinks came with the food over 20 minutes later, now I don't mind waiting for food but I expect the drinks to come quicker like they usually do, also the glasses were dirty. The staff seemed a bit miserable as well which was a shame as they are usually normally jolly. Food and value is a good as always. Overall though worth popping in as you know what to expect.

Visited while in Cardiff. Standing alongside Mermaid Quay this is a lovely looking building and is very modern. There is a big floor area on the ground floor and although it is big and spacious with lots of tables and chairs, it did give me a feel of a canteen with all the floor to ceiling glass windows. When we dined there for our evening meal we are upstairs towards the back and it felt far more relaxed and comfortable and more like a spoons. Both our breakfast and evening meals were lovely and of high quality. There are outside seating areas that look over Cardiff Bay. Another great feature is the glass staircase which is very unusual. This building is quite striking when viewed from the bay and I would recommend a visit No parking on site as its in the bay area but there is one behind Mermaid Quay nearby.

Its position on the bay gives impressive views. Like many JD Wetherspoons, it's on two floors, with outside area on each floor. The bar area is decorated above in an eye-catching way, unusual in a Spoons. I liked it. I didn't eat, but the service was fine, with pleasant and helpful staff. As for the atmosphere, I was there at a relatively quiet time of day.

Nice and busy Wetherspoons in Cardiff Bay. Slightly more expensive than City centre Spoons but I suppose you don’t have many other options. Nice selection of beers.

This place has a nice view and plenty of open space to enjoy the summer evenings. Unlike other Wetherspoons I have been to, this one is huge. There is a lot of rush though. But, this was the only place where We could get a table out of all the restaurants in Mermaid Quay.

Pretty standard Wetherspoons experience, friendly and helpful team, toilets are of course a 15 minute walk from where you end up sitting

When we arrived it was extremely busy here so the wait on food was 30 minutes which was fine. We ordered via the app and the drinks arrived rather quickly. I ordered jacket potato with five bean chili and unfortunately there was a tiny amount of chilli and this left the jacket potato very dry. As someone who cannot eat eggs due to an allergy I would like to see come vegan mayonnaise options to help with the dry food. The bbq pizza was nice and the beyond burger was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant despite it being full. The pub has good accessibility for all needs.

Fast service, good value food, tidy and clean. The new menu was updated Nov. this year and it is much better than the old menu. It has become one of our favourite restaurant. Only problem is that it is so popular and crowded, it is quite noisy. Anyway, the good advantage is the food is more fresh.

Visited fot food and drinks on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Was extremely busy on all floors inside and out, which is to be expected on a sunny day. Drinks were being served (via the app) after about 20 mins. Food was over an hour wait. Kinda expected it, but have been in other busy wetherspoons and not experienced that kind of wait. Staff seemed overwhelmed. Incredibly busy. Food was tidy, typical wetherspoons fare.

Huge Spoons with lots of outdoor seating overlooking the bay. Servers were nice and food came out fast. At the end of the day it’s a Spoons, but a real nice one!

A quiet Sunday evening drink with the wife, unfortunately the make of beer I was drinking tasted a bit off on the second pint, the staff were great and poured another make at no extra cost, apparently the stock gets low after the weekend and a new delivery doesn't come until Monday. Brilliant service at weatherspoons.

Great location, multiple options for seating - inside & outside on both ground and first floors. Can order and pay through the JDW app which was great. Efficient service. Food and drinks were very good, especially the starters. The mains are good portions and tasty too. Wide variety and Good value for money for both food and drinks
