Great food, nice atmosphere, good service. Food was definitely worthy of the 5 star rating alone. I 100% recommend this place and I'll definitely be returning. Looks as if I've found my new favourite place.

We visited Saturday evening. Wicked lovely atmosphere, really cool decor. Fantastic food; the burger was one of the best I’ve ever had. My girlfriends chicken was also delicious. The macaroni cheese bites were a surprise (we didn’t read the menu properly, we thought it was just macaroni cheese) but they were so good. Really nice. Also the service was great ! Definitely going to visit again next time we’re in Cardiff ��
Me & my 2 kids enjoyed the lot.....staters of nachos & chicken wings were lovely.
The burgers for mains were huge & went down a treat.
The deserts of oreo sundaes were a delight.

Stumbled upon this amazing restaurant last night and tried our luck for a table as we hadn’t booked. After ordering some drinks we were told within 5 minutes that they had a table spare for us, 2 adults and 1 child.
The service was exceptional, the food arrived promptly, and tasty was an understatement. It was so tasty, we forgot to take photos of the main meals.
3 of us ate a meal each and 1 adult and 1 child dessert. £62.00. Absolute bargain.
credit to the waitress who never let us wait for anything and deserved our £8 tip.

Delicious tasty dishes, good customer service, fast chefs and no need to wait forever, pleasant atmosphere. Accessibility to all. Not far to St David's and John Lewis parking. Have toilets inside. Plenty of seating and suitable for romantic atmosphere as well as social bar and restaurant. Good place to watch sport. Prices are very reasonable. I would recommend to anyone who would like to have good experience. Good place to celebrate a birthday and birthday boy was very impressed. We do not mind to visit again soon.

Came here for our son's birthday. Wasn't too busy but a nice atmosphere. Food was delicious, a bit sceptical after seeing some reviews but all our meals were hot and very tasty. Beef brisket was absolutely wicked! Tender and really tasty.
Southern Comfort burger was a bit of a handful but very nice indeed. Chips could do with more seasoning IMO but they were nice all the same.
We were served by Sophie (I think that was her name) who was great.
Will definitely come again to try other stuff on the menu. We were all properly full when we left, make sure you turn up hungry! 😁

We booked for a table of 16 for a friend's 30th birthday. The staff were efficient and attentive. All our meals came out together, in a decent amount of time, and there were no issues.
Me and my son are vegetarian, so he had a vegan hot dog. And I had the vegan wings, which were too spicy for me, so beware if you're a spice whimp like me. Great choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.
A lot of people had burgers, and they were all well received. Huge portions! The only complaint was that the brisket was dry and not very tasty. Another veggie option for a burger would be nice. Bean burgers are very overdone nowadays.
The restaurant has lots of cool things to look at and has a great atmosphere. You can choose music too, which is detailed on your table.
Overall, I would recommend eating here, especially if you eat meat!
It is hard to find a good smoke house these days. Most wannabe or fake smokehouses do not sell proper brisket or smoked meats. Smoke haus is not like them and has the best smoked brisket we have had to date since coming back from Texas. I would recommend the chilli fries as compliment to any dish.
Myself and my partner wanted to come here from the last time we visited Cardiff but they were fully booked, this time we booked in advance and I was not disappointed! The quality is amazing and the portion sizes are MASSIVE! The diner has a good 80s/90s rock vibe with AC/DC playing, Harley Davidson bikes on show etc etc. It was an awesome atmosphere, would highly recommend.
Only thing I would say is make sure you book in advance as they are extremely busy. Hope they franchise to other locations as I loved my meal and would love to go again!

We had an overall good experience at The Smoke Haus.
We ordered a lot of food and it didn’t cost a lot per person.
Unfortunately some items on the sharing platters were dry. The wings and the brisket were not tasty and not enjoyable to eat.
The Cheesy Fries were amazing, the Pulled Pork was also very nice. Lots of sauces to choose from too.
Better ribs than I got in Texas in March 2023. Smoke Haus ribs have a deep flavor, nice bark, very soft and a nice counter point sauce, lovely.
In the heart of Cardiff, great place for big portions and quick quality service. I had the dirty burger w fries & slaw was superb. Only thing I didn’t like were the chicken tenders.
Fantastic post rugby feed station. Also good spot to watch it! Food is great. Atmosphere decent too. There was bagpipes at one point but I don't suppose that's every week. Staff were good value too
I enjoy it here, good atmosphere and I like the food. Not cheap but not OTT either. Had the Hog Father burger and was very tasty and filling.
Have you ever asked yourself if bats ever eat in Bbq restaurants as I sure feel like one whenever I come here. You need sonar location to navigate around here, its just dark. Luckily the food is spectacular here, especially when they showered the pulled pork with the correct amount of bbq sauce and smoke. This place would definitely be recommended by Stevie Wonder as you can’t see but just taste and smell.

Absolutely amazing food and drinks
I had the mini mix grill and my friend had the standard and they were massive portions 😍😍👌
The food was nice and hot, plenty of flavour and the drinks were great to nice and cold
The staff were all friendly, asking how our food was and looked like they enjoyed their job.
Would definitely recommend to any meat lover and will definitely return 😍👌
Excellent slow cooked BBQ food. Couldn't fault the meal we had. The duo plate (comprising of pulled pork and smoked brisket) was cooked to perfection. Friendly staff too. Heartily recommended!
The food we had was really good - ribs and the brisket sandwich. Meat was very tender and the sides were tasty, prices reasonable too. I would come back to try other meals. Only reason for dropping a star is the service is a slightly lacking, it seems like all the waiters serve every table so we weren't sure who to ask for things and it took a while to get the bill. I would be back though!
Have been a regular for years but haven't visited for a while. Love the new menu. Burgers are seriously tasty. Tried the chippy ally and 'The Garbage'. Presentation excellent - burgers were incredible.
A large group of us were in Saturday night and I was so impressed with how well the staff dealt with getting all our orders, getting the food out to the whole group together and then dealing with splitting the bill after. Really great job! Oh and the burger was amazing too 😁
