Lovely little cafe. We needed a cooked breakfast that was gluten free and we found this place. Lovely food. Quick service. The breakfast lacked a good quality sausage which I personally think is needed in a full breakfast but unfortunately they don't do sausages for some reason but apart from thAt it was d'lish and good quality coffee too.
Didn't make it for lunch as we had planned, but made this place our morning coffee supplier (hotel room coffee never great). Great coffee, friendly staff and great customer service. Will return when back in Cardiff.
Absolutely the best cafe in Cardiff. The barista really knows his coffee and makes an ambrosia of a flat white. Set in the surroundings of a beautiful Edwardian arcade its an experience to sit here, people watch and drink stunning coffee. Its won awards for good reason. Cant wait for my next visit. Just yum!!
The Plan is a full on artisanal cafe. The coffee is amazing. The tea is excellent. The locally sourced food is delicious. The staff are as warm and welcoming as Trevor's beautiful coffees.

We hired the Plan Cafe as a party venue for my husband's 40th and it was a really good night. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we had the whole arcade to ourselves after hours! The Plan couldn't have been more helpful in the party preparations, going out of their way to buy in my husband's favourite whisky for him to drink on the night, playing his favourite music, and even offering to take photos! I can highly recommend it as a classy yet chilled venue for a private party. And we also love going there during the day for coffee, lunch, cake, milkshakes for the kids...
Excellent cafe, exceptionally friendly and attentive staff and the atmosphere is so calm and chilled even when it's super busy. Fantastic range of vegan and vegetarian foods, one of my new frequents!
It's a gem in the city centre. The decoration is simple but stylish. I really enjoyed having my hot chocolate there. Highly recommend!

The eggs benedict with smoked salmon was incredible and the service was 5* can’t wait to come back and visit next time I’m in Cardiff!

Lovely place! I had the smoky Russian tea and I 100% recommend it. It was exactly as I had imagined. The staff are really nice and polite as well.
Quite nice food. My husband and I had planned to go for brunch for some of their breakfast items, but unfortunately we were late, as they serve breakfast menu until 12 (we arrived 12:05).
Since we were already there, we stayed and chose other items, which were surprisingly tasty. Spanish eggs which were essentially three fried eggs in a spicy tomato stew served with toasted bread and butter; and a toast with bacon, brie and some sort of jam, which came with a side of salad.
Staff was nice and attentive all the time.
Great place, coffee is my favourite in Cardiff, however, sometimes it seems a bit understaffed, but is a great restaurant, always busy, sometimes difficult to get a table. Especially when they don't open the upstairs for extra tables.
Love the atmosphere there, coffee is great and a wonderful place to go with friends. Highly recommended

A nice little cafe in the middle of the arcade.
We stopped for cake and tea, both were very nice.
The service was quite slow but there was only one waitress serving, and then they had problems at the end with the card machine causing quite a queue.
Would recommend.
Great coffee in Cardiff ☕️ This place is just down the arcade, right at the middle connecting with different places! The place is awesome and get a wide variety of menus!

An elegant café, beautifully decorated in wood. Friendly, helpful staff. Main meals, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salads, soups, cakes, and many coffees and teas.
A good range of gluten-free options, including a breakfast available until 4pm. Several vegan options available too.
