Fantastic pub with an amazing atmosphere. Has a lovely range of things to do from pool to darts. It has TNT and sky sports with all sports catered for. It’s dog friendly and the staff and managers go above and behind for every need. Highly recommended best pub in Cardiff
Brilliant pub, owners are friendly and make you feel at home. Pool tables are top condition and lovely darts area too. Has become my go-to pub 👍🏼
The blackweir tavern has a lovley family atmosphere, an amazing selection of drinks and activities to do whilst here including pool darts and chess. It’s a lovley local pub and will definitely be coming back.

A gem of a pub just a short walk out of the city centre. Ideal for a stop off if your keen on walking and cycling as it is right on the taff trail. We turned up as a party of 8, and were served quickly, had a great steak meal with a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back

This pub is special it has decent parking which is rare in Cardiff.
Lots of sport on TV’s and really good pool tables that are kept in great condition.
Great prices on drinks , friendly staff and the food was great value.
Whenever we are in Cardiff we go there it’s a favourite.
A few beers before the Wales V England game on the 5th August. Good selection and a really good atmosphere. Will use again, pub is easily within walking distance to the stadium.
The most friendly and warm pub in Cardiff. I brought my Nan to Cardiff and the owners accommodated her amazingly. Made her feel so welcome back in her home town. Would recommend to anyone who visits. They’re so generous and lovely. Thank you for your hospitality xx

Good local pub with a family vibe to it. The owners frequently have their kids around which adds to the family owned aesthetic of the pub. Good specials for 3 ciders or beers for £7. The pub has most of the football games on and has fun activities such as darts, pool, ping pong and on Fridays karaok

Fantastic pint of carlsberg the best I've had for a long time, didn't sample the food but the service was quick & friendly. The place was fairly lively & had a decent pool table, would recommend this place.
