Had a cracking bite to eat. Popped our for a house viewing and stopped here on the way home.
Lovely staff, food was quick and enjoyable. First time I've been in and would most definitely come back too.
Service in the bar was great. Really nice staff who were very helpful. We moved into the lounge to eat at 8.30pm. Food came really quickly and was of great quality. Everyone left Happy after having a few drinks and some lovely food. Be back soon!!
The Arches is a great place to eat - with family and friends. There is a good choice - even on the gluten free menu - AND you get a proper menu for gluten free, rather than an awkward app. The food arrives hot and promptly. The staff are without exception friendly and helpful. Our table was clean - but was cleaned again prior to our meal to help prevent gluten contamination. It's not often you find a great place to eat, especially on a special diet, but The Three Arches is an all round winner!!
Our new local favourite, food is absolutely delicious and really generous portion sizes! We had booked a meal for Saturday where it was very busy, we had our starters but 50 minutes later we were still waiting for our main. It's not an issue for us as we could see the staff were really up against it and we just got lost in the system. It happens, not a big deal. After inquiring at the bar, not long after our mains arrived from the server with an offer of free deserts as an apology. We weren't expecting this as we were happy just to have our main but the deserts were amazing, I don't know the name of the gentleman who served us but thank you very much, made our evening!
Great local pub. Been here for lunch a couple of times and now in the evening. Staff very friendly (shout-out to Vendy!) and lovely atmosphere with well spaced tables. Food excellent for the price. Also loved the black and white cat parading around - nice touch!
We reserved a table for my 70th birthday party, The staff were arranging the table as we arrived. We ordered drinks at the table then casually looked over the menu. The food was delicious there wasn't much waste at all, so everyone enjoyed there meals. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience. James
Great night at this pub. Great food and great atmosphere helped by being full due to Wales football on. However we checked if it was dog friendly, it was, booked a table, but couldn't have it as we could only take dog in bar area. Service was really slow, but we were OK that night as we were catching up with friends, it would have been unacceptable most of the time, kitchen could not cope
Always amazing food and very reasonably priced.
Danielle is so lovely and always makes a fuss of my 2 year old when we visit which gives a good child friendly atmosphere.

Popped in for a couple of beers with a friend whilst visiting the area. Great selection of cask ales and lagers. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the pub was very clean and tidy. Will definitely return when next in the area.
I had reserved a table for 3 but, as there were a few tables free, we could choose where we could sit. All the staff were cheerful and friendly and, despite being busy, our meals were not long in coming to our table. We had all ordered fish and chips and we weren't disappointed. The fish was excellent and covered in a deliciously crisp batter. The chips were also delicious - everything was piping hot.
We will certainly return.
We were celebrating our son's birthday, and we ordered for dessert a cake and asked to put a candle on it. They served the cake with cheerful 'Happy birthday' song. It was really nice of them, my son was happy. The food was amazing as well. I do recommend to visit Three Arches to all my friends and familiars.
We celebrated my daughter’s birthday on 19th April . We pre-ordered 40 meals . Service was excellent . All meals came out quickly and the food was lovely . Great staff , lovely atmosphere and thank you for making us feel so welcome. Thank you Danielle for organising the meals 😀 we’ll see you again very soon .
I always really like coming here; the food is great & they have a really good selection including a comprehensive gluten free menu. The atmosphere is relaxed & there is plenty of seating. Service is good as well, the staff are friendly. Prices are reason & in line with what you’d expect for “pub grub”. They always are accommodating for larger parties as well, & there is a function room upstairs.
Food was absolutely stunning, my steak was cooked perfectly as was my mother in law's gammon. The kids had lasagna and a classic burger, everyone agreed the food was great, my 7 year old said "They couldn't even make it better next time"

Very nice food, nice beer, can see the green from outside table. Very relaxing place. When we visited, their machine didn't work. Cash only, there is bank near, but we couldn't have receipt . We will visit again because everything was so perfect.
Festive for 30 people went really well, food and service excellent. We had a really enjoyable time, everything went according to plan thanks to staff. We also had an anniversary celebration on 10 February for 35 people in the function room. The buffet was delicious. We had the bar and the barman was very helpful and friendly. Everyone had a great time. The staff were so helpful. Thanks everyone.
Visited for some Christmas Eve lunch yesterday and this beautiful, warm and friendly pub is the definition of service with a smile. The pub was busy but so well staffed and every one of the staff members were brilliant. Lovely steak and ale pie with chips and gravy and a beautiful pint of Barry Island IPA. Thank you to all for your great service yesterday and Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
