Another nice city centre traditional pub. Lovely building. Nice staff and a good place for a great pint of Guinness.
One of our favourite bars in the city. Perfect for an afternoon people watching, chatting away and enjoying some drinks. It has been a starting bar on a pub crawl, a quiet afternoon tipple and a last stop on a boozy night. Fab pub with lovely staff!
Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, good beer, and outstanding fish n chips.
Nice pub in a central location. Nice staff and good cask beers

Busy pub in the city centre. Barmaid was very friendly. Good atmosphere, not much seating. Guinness was a 6.5/10
We came for food and drinks and the staff were lovely and so welcoming, Will was top tier in making recommendations and was so helpful. Dan and a young man named Iuean were also lovely will definitely come back!!!!
Visited before a gig at the Utilita Arena. The place was packed but the atmosphere and service were both great. Really good selection of beers which are reasonably priced. Great meeting place before gigs. Will be back soon to try the food!
Great pub good choice of beers including Brains and good range of cider. Great location nice looking pub and reasonably priced. Would love to go again
Friendly service and decent food. Shame that when we went back a second time for food the kitchen wasn’t open until half four.
Great atmosphere, went for after meeting drinks with a client, Danica & Amanda were very busy ensuring the bar was spotless, they were very polite & professional. We will definitely visit again soon.
Young Blonde lady behind the bar was very Professional and Polite, made me feel very welcome. Food was amazing...very reasonable prices...would have stayed longer of I could but had to catch a coach back to London

Didn't eat but food did look good.
This is by far my favourite pub in Cardiff will always call in here on a visit to the city. However sad to see that a week before match day with the rugby a pint of Guinness is £5 but when I went there day of the Wales v NZ game they were charging £5.35. Went back there the following week it was bac
Sunday Roast was well prepared with a variety of components. The cut of meat however was not up to my standards.
Good Speedy Service, Excellent Attitude from Helpful Staff, Good quality food & drinks on sale, Covid Safety Guidance clearly visible in place. Reasonable prices #Happy
The first time I had ever took a trip to the UK was a weeks trip to Cardiff. I traveled from Texas. Everywhere I went, I had to get something local. And my visit to the Duke of Wellington was no different. I had met a friend at the time and his family for a pint. I can get almost any beer in the sta
Friday's between 5-8pm 2 glasses of prosecco for £5. Great relaxed atmosphere, really busy bar with attentive staff. At times it's standing room only. We only drank here but other diners had food clearing their plates.
