What an amazing Christmas Day first time ever eaten out and they nailed it , beef melt in your mouth and the baked Alaska was to die for.. definitely made my Christmas with friendly happy staff and luxury Christmas crackers to top it off.
Visited yesterday late afternoon and had a super meal from the set menu. Three courses and a pint for under £15. Hens egg in bacon crumb coating, mushroom pappardelle and Eton mess to finish. Food was excellent and the service was great (OK yes it was quiet so no doubt that helped). All the staff were really nice and friendly !! Nicely designed pub in a great location.

In terms of drink prices, they were reasonable, with singles averaging around £7 and doubles at £9. Overall, my visit to The Dock was a great experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others or return for another visit. The combination of pet-friendliness, delicious food, friendly staff, and a vibrant atmosphere makes it a place worth trying.
Love The Dock, one of my favourite places in the Bay for a drink or food. The Bay Burger is delicious, the place offers a wide selection of beers and spirits. They often have live music on. Recommend it :)
Atmosphere and staff are great 👍. Food was very average but nothing to complain about.
Staff were really friendly and attentive. Live music downstairs was good. Plenty of seating available so we were able to sit on the balcony. Very reasonably priced drinks considering the location! Would definitely come again.
We are regulars at the Dock. Most weekends. Jamie, Kaitlin, CJ and Jay are great staff. Warm, friendly, great service received by all. We get our table and they are attentive and helpful. Food I'd delivered really quickly and is delicious. Weekends are busy times especially as located in Cardiff bay but our favourite place to eat and drink. Live music is a bonus. We'll done team you make us want to keep coming back

Nice atmosphere with live music. Not much options for cocktails but the one i chose from the menu was good.
Great place for early breakfast and then beer before rugby. Fantastic singer last Saturday called Johnny Collins, who had the place singing along to lots of great songs when we went back after the rugby. Good range of beers too. I will come back.
