Great food and nice relaxed atmosphere. Nicely decorated and good menu to choose from. Food was prepared well and the ingredients tasted fresh. The staff Sandra and Marcian were informative and welcoming.

Fantastic breakfast with absolutely brilliant service. I cannot compliment the eggs benedict enough as they were delicious with a great yolk. The espresso was great and the staff explained the difference between the different blends they offer.
10/10 for breakfast. Shall come back to try a dinner service.
We had a very good meal here this week. I just commented that I found my salad a little too oily and was immediately offered a replacement. I said no as I had nearly finished, and was very surprised to find it had been removed from the bill. Excellent service,. Good food and good value. Thank you.
Opera evening - with friends - great night.
Very warm welcome from friendly staff together with a glass of fizz, followed by canapés. Opera singers performed some great classics and a few lesser known numbers in between courses from a set menu. Food was of the usual high standard.
All in all a great evening - I'll look forward to the next opera night with great relish.
Food is always delicious, service is good and reasonable prices.
Eating at a chain restaurant seems to be a bit of a no no these days, especially in a city like Cardiff where there are so many high quality independent Italians to choose from. I've been to this branch twice and both times the food and service has been absolutely superb so I've got no problem recommending it. If I had to dig deep for a criticism, the Peroni could have been a bit colder, ha!
Has a nasty habit of adding VAT when at the stage of paying the bill, I think the VAT should be factored into the initial advertised prices. The food is brilliant, including the kids menu. The staff are really welcoming, and polite.
Offers good selection of gluten free options for an Italian restaurant. Pasta was nice but pudding limited. Don't have the meringue unless you want to develop diabetes!

After being turned away by 6 other restuarants in the same strip as they were "booked until 7pm" despite all having a majority of empty tables (it was 5pm when we were trying to eat) we were welcomed into Carluccio's no problem.
The service was great, and the food was great too. To start we had a Tomato Brushetta, and two Calamari Fritti; for mains a Lasagne, Chicken Milanese, and Veganese, and for dessert a giant profiterole, Passion fruit meringue, and passion fruit sorbet.
All the food was delicious, however the Chicken Milanese was described as being slightly overcooked - as chicken usually is in resturants, and the profiterole was filled with icecream rather than cream. Otherwise everything else went down a treat.
We also recieved a voucher for items from the shop, and we ended up buying a few things before we left.
Never did we feel rushed, unwanted, or uncomfortable; the staff were attentive when needed, and didn't overbear us when not needed.
Good experience, and will go back soon!

The only thing wrong with our visit here was that there wasn't enough time to fully enjoy the experience. The food was delightful, the service sympathetic to our needs as parents of small children, and the wine list good. Can highly recommend.

We went for our wedding anniversary: the food was stunning, so much choice, Marcin and Kacper took such good care of us nothing was too much trouble, lots of time to explain what wad on the menu and their personal favourites. We have to go back now to try our second choices as we loved it ao much
