I rushed in here and asked if we could have breakfast to go, as we were cutting it close for a scheduled tour. They were super nice and accommodating and the food was the best we had in Cardiff!!! It was so good that we went back for lunch! 😊 The tables are a little too close for my taste so be ready to be close to others but lovely atmosphere and beautiful water views complement the delicious food and great service.
Their Immunity smoothie is a must try!
The meal was delicious, and the set menu was very reasonably priced - £16 for 2 courses or £20 for 3 courses. The waitresses were fantastic.
Unfortunately, we were sat by the window on a very cold night so we felt pretty cold throughout the meal. It’s also a dog-friendly restaurant which I didn’t know when I booked.
Luckily, we were able to get a table, and the whole experience was great! Nice atmosphere, and the staff gave a great service.
Great bills restaurant! Love their brunch options always great quality assured! Really enjoyed the garden plate just opted to swap eggs to fried! Added buttermilk pancakes with syrup and butter also.

I ate there at lunch and the food was great, the workers were also really sweet, Gemma, Dan and Amy, super nice and pleasant! The place is very nice as well!
12 of us went for brunch to celebrate my 30th birthday, plus a dog. The staff were super helpful in arranging a good table where we could keep the dog tucked in a corner so as not to get in people's way. Food came quickly and was really good, exactly what you would expect for the establishment. We all enjoyed massively and would definitely use again for a larger booking or smaller party! Thank you 😀

Went to Bill's for a late breakfast as part of a short trip. Had the vegetarian breakfast platter and it was really great. There was a little bit of everything, the tea was great, everything was very dog friendly and the service was courteous.
We hadn't booked and we could see it was busy (27th Dec 6.45pm) but the host said we could come back in half an hour and we did it was much quieter too!! (7.15pm)
The service was excellent, attentive and very friendly. The food was delicious, served piping hot and very tasty! Drinks were priced high for me (£9 for a glass of wine.)
We paid overall £60 for two drinks one starter and two mains.
We would visit again and I'd recommend if you're in the area !
My son and I had brunch at Bills in Cardiff Bay and would definitely recommend it! The servers were so friendly and helpful, fast service and the food was delicious. My son had the pancakes with chicken and bacon and I had the Garden plate, something I wouldn’t normally have chosen but I’m very glad I did! The restaurant is also dog friendly and has a lovely atmosphere.

Lovely experience. The staff were fantastic and the food was good value for money.. Well worth a trip. There was an "Optional" service change (12.5%), but as the staff were really good - it was deserved.

The hostess/staff member when we arrived was superb in sorting out a suitable space for the 6 of us. The waiting staff were all friendly, couple of minor issues in having to ask for the water for the table multiple times before it arrived, and the dirty vegan burger was hard to cut into, but otherwise enjoyable. rosemary fries seemed like they'd be a good companion, but couldn't tell they'd been seasoned at all
Lovely place in Cardiff Bay to go for breakfast, brunch/lunch or dinner. The people you work there are friendly and helpful. The food is lovely, a great choice of alcoholic and soft drinks. I had the chicken shawarma and cinnamon doughnuts which were gorgeous. Ground access and a good atmosphere.

We had Boxing Day lunch it was fully booked totally packed with families and friends but the staff was amazing under the pressure they managed fast smooth service with care and smiling all the time ! 👏👏👏We where totally impressed ! Nieve looked after us and we big Thanks to her efforts for perfect service 🫶 Thank to her colleague Cariad who helped too 🫶
From our menu choices definitely the best burger is Santa’s and the soup if the day with the cheese sourdough bread is proper homemade warmer we love it ❤️The chocolate profiteroles for 2 is a delicious feast for every chocolate lover 😍
Red whine selections is good but we prefer Organic Wine and it was missing from the menu that’s a little Note from us to the owners for future supply’s 🍷🍷😁

Bill's has always had great atmosphere, the staff training and attitude is always on point. The food, whilst still enjoyable, I feel has lost quality over the years. It feels like more and more the food is brought in batches, pre-made rather than freshly prepared in the kitchen.
Still, an enjoyable experience that doesn't break the bank, and the floor staff do a great job of being considerate and attentive.
