The welsh cakes were so good ! We had the Easter, originals and chocolate flavoured ones.
My personal favourite was the chocolate Welsh cakes (I’m not a fan or raisins). The cakes were light and small and very fresh.
Massive plus point is that the bakery is open on bank holiday weekends !
Well; staff and shop is very nice, you definitely should pass by and try the fabulous welshcakes but dont expect a taste bomb in your mouth. They taste exactly like they look :) 12 pieces for 6 pounds, so i guess worth trying. There are three types: chocolate, raisin and cinnamon. Enjoy!
Went there to try out Welsh cakes for the first time. They had the traditional ones along with some other options as well. The Welsh cakes tasted really good. I'd definitely go back again. And the staff were polite and friendly too!

I have been buying Welsh cakes for over the last three years, before the COVID-19. The quality and taste are always great!! Fresh, hot and delicious! Two branches can be found, in the City Center and this one in Cardiff Bay.
Had previously tasted Welshcakes and not liked them but the Welshcakes at Fabulous are just that, FABULOUS!
Lovely Shop. Lovely cakes. Lovely staff - very smiley and friendly. If in Cardiff a visit to this shop is a must!

Lovely little shop by the bay. Has 3 vegan options (original, chocolate orange and cherry coconut) when we visited. They tasted great and staff were friendly and helpful.
Delicious warm Welshcakes. Today's special flavours were white chocolate/vanilla and apricot/cinnamon alongside the traditional. What a treat
