Found this restaurant by chance and so glad we did.
Really nice venue inside - staff were very friendly and food was delicious.
We went for the Calamari and Pork Belly to start, the chicken and lamb for main and the brownie and lemon tart with cherry sorbet for dessert (cherry sorbet was out of this world). Would definitely recommend everything we ate as it was all really tasty.
Great find, will be returning and if it’s not on your list already then it should be!
* should note, the lamb isn’t normally served with chips as in the picture I just asked for them to be switched in.
Lovely pub. Visited today while on holiday and had a perfect meal. All of the food we ordered was delicious. Staff friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced considering such high quality. Highly recommended
Been meaning to come here for dinner for a while and managed to get a lunch date set up here instead. There were just 3 other tables taken up with customers but each course took about 45/60 minutes to get to us. As lovely as the food was, I was disappointed with the slow service. Never spent 2 and a half hours somewhere just for lunch before. I would happily come back and see what dinner service is like if any of my friends ever suggested it but not in a rush.
First time visiting this hidden gem . Stunning restaurant in Wenvoe, Vale of Glamorgan. I went for the rump of lamb ( medium to well ) and it was cooked to perfection. The crushed potatoes and large French beans were accompanied by a delicious port , Redcurrant and mint gravy . The staff were very friendly and helpful. And they do a cracking pint of Amstel. Was on my to do list , put it on yours , definitely highly recommended 👍
Went there with some friends for dinner. Service was good. Staff very helpful, accommodating and friendly.
My friend ordered the Thai red curry, but it was extremely spicy. The waitress offered to change the dish and replaced it with another choice chosen by my friend. Both the Thai red curry and new dish were not charged on the bill.
Portions were good. Starters, mains and desserts were very tasty. Prices were reasonable for the type of food served.
Restaurant is quite deceiving as it looks bigger than it is (due to the mirror). Parking available outside restaurant.
Tried this today lovely building outside with parking, inside could do with an upgrade. Had fish and chips which was excellent, taste was great, small menu however enjoyed the meal and would go back. The young waiter was very pleasant and friendly overall staff fantastic!
Me and my friend had simply awesome food. We were welcomed by Lia, who was professional, Curteous, and caring and wondered why living so close by. I have never been here! Food and drinks are brilliant. The atmosphere here is cozy ✨️ and I simply recommend that everyone be here and enjoy the delicacies ❤️
Made very welcome on arrival good selection of drinks at the bar including non alcoholic drinks, once our party had all arrived and settled down we were invited to go to our table ready to have our meals served, all meals brought to us by excellent waiters so that everyone were able to eat at the same time. We all enjoyed an excellent meal including one person that wanted a off the menu meal. Would definitely return again and recommend to friends to go to
Lovely place. Amazing food, lovely staff went here for lunch with friends and ended up staying for drinks all afternoon. Staff are very helpful.
Never visited before, although those I was with, have done. Thoroughly enjoyed my Sunday Lunch, the mushroom starter was the best I've ever had.
It seemed very quiet which made me feel a little uncomfortable as I felt we were holding the staff up from going home.

Service was great.
We were first seated at the bar to order, and get drinks, then taken to the table. Bread and butter was provided at the table.
The food arrived (garlic bread starter) which was very tasty. Our mains were swiftly after. The steak was a great cut, cooked perfectly. Desert was equally as yummy.
Bathrooms were clean as expected.
Only comment is that the wine was much more expensive than we thought. We should have checked the prices and bought a bottle before just ordering by the glass!
Service was great.
Would 100% return. Was all in all a good dining experience.
Had a meal delivered this evening, we were told it would be about 40 minutes. It was delivered 20 minutes later steaming hot and tasty. We had seafood linguine have to say best I have eaten it was delicious, massive portion enough for two. King prawns were delicious. The prime beef burger was lush the husband is still drooling, the chips and onion rings stunning. Will definitely order again but looking forward to being able to visit and eat in.
Excellent food at a reasonable price. Special early bird menu 3 courses £17.95 before 1845pm. Drinks not cheap a pint of stellar £4.79 and only other draft beers are Bass pale ale Becks and Strong bow cider. Prices range from £4 to £4.79. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and excellent service as staff are very attentive to your requirements. Well worth a visit.
My son and I were on a weekend break in Cardiff. We booked a table for dinner at this place, based on reviews I had read. It was everything and more! The location was perfect, the food flawless and the service immaculate. The steaks were the best we have had since we could remember. The sticky toffee pudding is highly recommended as are the grilled mushrooms, seared scallops and the brocoli in garlic butter. Very attentive and friendly service topped off a memorable meal!
Excellent, freshly-prepared dishes served by very conscientious staff in delightful surroundings. Lovely, airy dining area with lots of light wood divided into smaller zones for a great individual experience. Very quick service when I visited for a lunch with a party of twelve. Would love to go back!
