Wow! What a pub.
Fabulous beer (chocolate porter this time) and delicious, reasonably priced food.Best veggie nachos ever.Portions are very generous too.
Staff couldn’t have been friendlier, excellent thank you 👏👏.
I really enjoy coming for food and drinks in tiny rebel. The staff are always friendly and there is always a large range of drinks to try there. The food selection here is good and a reasonable price for town center. I was disappointed at what looked like mould on the table. Apart from that, definitely recommend wether it's for lunch or a late night drink
Love this place. Also recently discovered they do the best vegan roast we’ve ever had! Very tasty, piping hot and even includes Yorkshire puddings. Great for visiting with kids too as their portions very good value.
The staff are always super helpful and lovely. They get to know you before recommending anything which always results in a beer you will be OBSESSED with until you go back and they recommend another.
Came for my partners 28th birthday and it was nothing short of perfections.
We finally came to have a Sunday dinner after saying we would for over a year and my God we were not disappointed. It was absolutely incredible. There was attention to detail in the smallest of things and one was out of place. We have now decided this is our place for a Sunday roast. Incredible. The drinks, goes without saying, Wales' finest and the service was top notch as always.
Guys if you are visiting Cardiff and want a Sunday roast there is only one place to visit , bypass the £100 eateries near and go to Tiny Rebel , still the best Sunday lunch in town, great meat reasonably priced and of course the beer speakers for itself 👍and it’s always hot .
Great beer and a wonderful Sunday lunch. Will be back. Takes a while for the meal to be delivered but I reckon its because it's freshly done. Sunday lunch has got to be one of the best pub style lunches in the City Centre. Never managed to finish one yet but they are great and large! Well worth a visit. Last visit today, 12th November 23. Visited 11th February 2024 and it's fair to say lunch was very poor compared to what they've done before. There was a scraggy chicken leg with hardly any meat on it. Have knocked 2 stars off the food. Very disappointing.
Made a pilgrimage here on a Tuesday as was in Cardiff for my sons graduation.
I have been a fan of their beers for years so the chance to finally try some on draft was too good to miss.
The range is extensive (go with halves) so be warned and take your time.
The venue is deceptively large right next to Cardiff stadium and has a look that totally fits the Tiny Rebel brand image.
Even though it was midweek we booked a 17:15 slot and glad we did as the place packs out.
Now normally the food in these places is average as the beer is the selling point however the food was great and well priced.
The satay aubergine was fantastic as was the Tokyo and Mykonos burgers we had.
Special props should be given to the knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff (ask to try if you don't fancy a full glass of some of the more obscure offerings)
All in all for a Tiny Rebel beer experience, with good food on top you can't go wrong!
We always enjoy the beer on offer, but we were really impressed with our recent Sunday Roasts. I had chicken, my partner had beef, both were piping hot and with a good selection of veg/sides. We’ll definitely be back!
Lovely place, ideal locations for concert days at the principality! Plenty of seats, well priced menu and lovely staff.
We went for the wings, a burrito and some truffle fries. All really good, though I did think the truffle fries could've been better (a little dry).
My husband didn't like the ale, but he doesn't like ales and fancied a try! Their own cola is delicious.
We loved the Newport one so visited the Cardiff one the next night. It was a different vibe and was super busy. Food was still amazing except I couldn't get a side of ranch as it wasn't available on the till...I ended up ordering a side of onion rings just to get some.
Beer always lovely!
Amazing food, great selection, funky beers
The Rebel fries are a must try!
Reccomend you visit here and it's a stones throw from the Pince of Pality Stadium
Found this little gem of a pub on a resent trip to Cardiff...
Great selection of craft beers. My daughter particularly liked the raspberry cream soda ale. Where I went for the raspberry cider which was lovely. Food very tasty too.
Such a chilled out atmosphere and really friendly and helpful staff.
Prices for drinks a bit steep, but to be expected in city centre.
Only complaint is that its card only!
Great craft beer place with friendly staff and good atmosphere. Can see why people come here!
A little disappointed in the beer selection. Loads of taps, but nothing out of the norm. Staff a little disinterested until you add a tip on the card machine they leave the tip screen up on when they hold it out to you. This would of made it 3 stars, but the fantastic veggie / vegan food makes it a 4. The vegan ribs were incredible. Plus they do frickles, that's always a win for me
Cool brewery/bar! Loved the atmosphere and the beer. Really interesting flavor profiles on some of their beers but any beer lover will find something to suit their taste. They also offer takeaways. The staff was great! I was assisted in picking out some beers to take home as souvenirs.
Probably my most visited pub in Cardiff over the last decade.
90% of the time this is a great place so I'll concentrate on that and give it five stars based on a good day.
They have a great choice of Tiny Rebel beers (as expected) but also decent choice of spirits and ciders.
Over the years the food ranges from great to average. At the moment I've been really enjoying the chicken wings and fried pickles. On Sunday I had their Sunday lunch with was great value for money for £12.
In the summer they have 6 outdoors tables in the sun on Westgate Street, perfect if you can grab a spot on a busy day.
Another positive is that it's open until 2am seven days a week, in a city that closes early this is really useful.
They have some great spaces for hire upstairs too.
Obviously great beer (although the milkshake beer is challenging). The food (rebel burger and 6 pcs boneless wings) was very tasteful and great bbq sauce. Fries perhaps a time to long in the frying pot. Additional, the 3 meter urinal is a must see….
What a great place! Fantastic atmosphere, great selection of beers and ciders. Food was really lovely, so tasty, well priced for the portion size. Would definitely recommend the Rebel Fries. You will not be disappointed!
