Lovely countryside pub with friendly staff. Just what you need after you've been out walking the trails. Walking into the pub there was an open fire and the decor fits in nicely with the style. We only used the pub for drinks, so I can't comment on the rooms etc, looking at the property, I would thi
One of the best Sunday roasts we have had in a very long time! The Glamorgan sausages were out of this world, and the veg and sides were all delicious. Staff were so lovely and helpful with my elderly nan and the place is great with allergies and dog friendly! We also had their bread basket with but
Lovely food and lovely quaint pub. Staff were lovely until we finished the food and tried to split the bill. Celebrated my 60th last night with family and I just want to say how perfect it was . The food was delicious, freshly cooked and served piping hot . The staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble . Hope to return soon .

The service, the food, the atmosphere, the drinks choices, the spacious table, the bar....everything about the Gwaelod-y-Garth got great reviews from the five in our group. The whole experience restored my faith that there are nice, customer focused establishments out there worth searching for. We w
