Excellent food and service; such a cool little tea room! Awesome decor, so quaint with all of the teacups and plates on the walls. Delicious yummy food and such welcoming and caring staff/owners. Don’t come here if you’re in a rush and wanting something fast, but that’s not the vibe here. Take a seat and have a cuppa and chat with your fam. Highly recommend.

I visited this lovely unique tearoom on Saturday 23rd of March, with my Mum. We had a lovely warm welcome from Lauren and her Mum. Nothing was too much trouble, the cakes, sandwiches and especially the lemon posset was absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed the experience so much, we will be back very soon to try the rest of the beautiful homemade cakes. Thank you for making Mum's belated Mothers day present so special. Alison. Xx

Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area. The food (bacon sandwich) was great and the home made honey cake was delicious. Great cup of coffee too. All topped off with amazing service from Laura and all the staff. Will definitely be back.

Lovely welcoming atmosphere and the host was very kind in lending her grandmothers hot water bottle after coming in from the cold. Super cute decoration and the service was amazing.

Walking into Honeybee House was like stepping into a simpler time, away from the hustle and bustle and stress of today. You are greeted by a team of lovely and warm hosts from whom you can just sense their passion and enthusiasm. The lunch menu was short and sweet, I didn’t feel overwhelmed with options but at the same time not lacking choice. I had a ham and cheese toastie, with ingredients sourced from local, independent businesses, which tasted like home. It also came with a wonderful salad and delicious homemade coleslaw. I had a sweet and rich Turkish delight hot chocolate with a soft and fluffy Victoria sponge. The decoration was gorgeous and the effort which must have gone into it spoke for itself. The atmosphere is so relaxed and pleasant. The stereo played what I can best describe as “old timey” songs, maybe from the 40s? Which I personally liked a lot, and contributed to the theme they were going for. Even down to the dishes and cutlery used, everything was on theme. What an incredible place to stop in for lunch or just a sweet treat with a spot of tea in the heart of Llanishen. Proud to support this business. I cannot praise the family behind Honeybee highly enough. Thoroughly recommend.

Popped in for an afternoon tea yesterday and it was fantastic. Wonderful selection of locally sourced produce to make fantastic finger sandwiches and cakes. The team were super friendly and welcoming, explaining how everything was made. Leftovers get wonderfully packed up to go, looking forward to more treats later.

My first visit at Selah and I had a so delicious Homemade Stew. The staff was so friendly 🙂 As I was alone for lunch, I really appreciated a smile, a friendly face and some kind words. Thank you for all!! The Stew was fantastic!! It arrived super fast, I was expecting that I have to wait a little bit longer as the Cafe was nearly full. And yes, it looks really charming and lovely inside. I will definitely come back.

I am genuinely surprised by how good this tea rooms is. Usually they’re twee and nice but on the whole the service is usually okay at best and the food is meh. This is not the case at all! Firstly, you can actually make reservations easily. When you arrive they’re warm and friendly and have the forethought to get your table cleared 15 mins before you arrive. The food is delicious! We had lunch and cake and I have to say the Victoria sponge was one of the best I’ve had. They do run out of scones early though! Parking can be a bit of a nightmare around there so give yourself 10 mins to find a spot if you’re driving. I will be back - need to try their afternoon tea!
