Found this place just by chance during a visit to St Ives. Great place, very friendly...we felt like locals after a couple of nights
First ever visit, food was beautiful and huge portions. Landlord and staff very pleasant and polite. Will definitely be making a return visit. Cracking
Great food and drink, very welcoming family orientated our Sunday dinner yesterday was perfect and quick to arrive to our table.
Great pub. Great staff. Great food and only a stones throw from The Atlantic Hotel in Carbis Bay. Happy Days
Fantastic food and a very warm welcome on arrival. The food was cooked fresh and very well presented. We will be back again.
Cracking pint of Guinness....Catch of the day was superb and the prawn cocktail starter was just how I remember them....You can't beat the classics...!!! In tomorrow (Weds) for the quiz....'ave it...!!!!
What a fantastic pub we found whilst on honeymoon in St Ives very friendly and relaxed atmosphere and the food was superb. Quiz night on Wednesday evening was good fun even if we did come last
Only popped in for a quick one Lovely staff and nice atmosphere. Worth a visit.

Good SUNDAY LUNCH go on a regular basis, nice friendly people
Just got back from the best ever pub Sunday dinner that I’ve had, honestly. I wouldn’t normally recommend eating out for a Sunday dinner but considering that we are on holiday and decided to book for this evening I was glad we did.
The food was great, the size of the meal was amazing and the staff were fantastic.
I would totally recommend and I would believe that we will visit again before heading home.
Dogs are welcome so we visited with 3 adults and our dog.
We popped in for a drink last night and chatted to the locals who were really friendly & welcoming. Bar staff were lovely. We visited again tonight & had 4 x Sunday Roasts (2 beef & 2 Turkey) and puddings. All delicious & hot. Fab. We will certainly be back again before the end of our holiday here.
P.s. Have just read the review before this where the guest said they had crayfish linguine. I don’t know where they dined as this wasn’t even on the menu!
We have been here 3 times this week the food is fantastic staff are so lovely especially the young man who is here helping his uncle out for the summer. He is so polite & never stops taking orders cleaning tables serving food, for a young man he definitely is an asset to the pub.
Definitely worth a visit.
We stumbled upon a little gem. Great atmosphere. Lovely staff and customers. Very welcoming. Will definitely return when in the area again
Visited twice! Once just for drinks and to get a feel for the place and then the following night we came back for food and it really didn’t disappoint. For a party of 6 nothing was too much. Quick efficient service and very friendly! Absolutely loved it! Thankyou guys keep it up 👍
A really lovely pub. The food is delicious. highly recommended.
First time eating at the Cornish Arms, lovely little pub, very welcoming staff. food was good just wished they had mushy peas with the fish n chips!! will definitely visit again
A few weeks ago I went here and I myself have tried many Restaurant and Carvery place that near to where I live in Zennor now and I must say the food is Excellent and the staff are very Friendly and help full well should have gone there sooner as the Food I had was great so The Sunday Roast is very Tasty. If your looking for Good Food then your going into the right place. I have tried so many in and around a 15 mile Radius this is one on my list I would now choose 3 First's. The staff are friendly and Yet got Free WiFi use while I was there, the Beers are nice. The place is clean so I do have a list of place I do and will go for meal but this is my first choice from now on.
Our place for the Sunday Roast. Great value, good selection of beers and lagers. Cosy atmosphere. Been coming here for years and hopefully many more.
It was a dull evening, although our B&B was super its 20 mins walk to St Ives, and we just wanted a local close by. This pub is certainly that. Unfortunately, it was fully booked for a meal but nevertheless we stayed for a few drinks and snacks. Friendly staff, well policed for social distancing and a good atmosphere. Lots of grub coming out and it looked good. Colin, co owner, was making mean Aperol Spritz despite never having previously made them! Good selection of beers and lagers....
The food is so good, we have eaten Sunday roast here which has to be one of the best we've had. We have also eaten through the week, and the food is just as good. They are very friendly and it has a great atmosphere.
Good pub food in friendly atmosphere
If you like a Sunday Roast then go here.
It’s nice & welcoming inside too.
Can honestly say 10/10 best pub roast I’ve had & I’ve had a few !
Lovely soft beef, loads of veggies & fairly good value too at £14ish esp compared to many I’ve visited at above that price.
Bit of an uphill slog from St.Ives to Carbis Bay but there are frequent buses up the long hill & is worth the trip !
Would definitely recommend & so would our Labrador as she was welcome inside with us too & was even given doggie treats by the staff 😀
We had a drink first night we arrived as the kitchen was already closed . Friendly locals and you can bring your dog.We did have a meal in another time and enjoyed the food.
Nice Sunday mgeals 😋great food 😋 very nice 👌
