Unusually from me a review of an Indian Restaurant.
We were visiting friends on Canvey and they suggested we all go for a meal on the Friday at night.
First thing our friends advised was to take our own drink as they are not licensed.
I wish more restaurants did this as we knew we could have drinks we liked.
Glasses were provided for us to use.
We started with poppadoms and chutney etc. Exactly what you would expect and enough pickles etc for the six poppadoms.
We decided against starters and went straight for the mains.
These included Grilled Salmon, Lamb Bhunas, Chicken Tikka Madras, Pillau rices, Garlic Naans and Bombay Aloo and Mushroom Bhaji.
All the food was superbly cooked and wonderfully flavoured. Portion sizes were very good.
No rush at all to consume your food.
We finished off with a selection of various ice creams and sorbets.
To sum up, a very enjoyable evening with superb food.
I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and look forward to returning to our friends again in the future so we can visit this restaurant again.
I forgot to take photos when the food was brought out so you have a selection after we served up.
Food and service great. Not eaten in so can't comment on atmosphere but it's a smart place.

Lovely food great service. Update. I don't think my review did this place justice...for over 2yrs we have not had 1 single issue with this place...food is always top notch and all our friends say how lovely it is and now using them. Hope it long continues.
Absolutely amazing, so helpful with my mum's birthday .with cake and balloons etc. Very friendly staff
The staff here are super friendly and let us in after closing time to order food. Definitely recommend this place simply because of the friendliness of the staff and their accommodation!

Ordered a takeaway yesterday for dinner guests. It was delicious!😋 Had 6 mains, various dishes, a few different types of naans and types of rice dishes, plates were cleared 👌
We all enjoyed our meals, good quality meats, perfectly cooked!

Quality of the meat (lamb and chicken) was amazing, and good portion sizes, excellent vslue for money.Very clean restaurant. Polite staff. Highly recommended.
