What a fantastic place to stay, the hotel that is, this place is wasted in Canvey island, great venue, staff and amazing food and great value for money.
We made a last minute trip from cambridge to Canvey Island and was lucky to get the last room available �� unfortunately we won’t return as there is nothing in Canvey to attract us but if you need to be in that area you will not be disappointed in your stay, well done to the whole team �� Bobby and Bridget
Stayed here three times while working away and I have not one complaint at all. All the staff are helpful and friendly, the beer and snap is top notch, rooms are clean and well kept! Staff even kept in contact with us while we checked in late and stayed around till we arrived. Brilliant!!
Staff were friendly,the room was great and the breakfast.it wad worth the money and I would recommend it to my friends and family and I would stay again

[574457255:Stephanie Ann Thornton] and I always stay here when we are working in Essex and it's always been great. After a long drive we decided to eat in their Lighthouse Restaurant and what a fabulous meal it was. The starters were cooked to perfection and we wouldn't have been disappointed it that had been our main course! The main course of braised Ox cheeks in red wine was beautifully tender and flavoursome. And the cost..... try it for yourself and you won't believe what you are paying!
Stayed here two nights. Lovely room; comfy bed ; food in restaurant excellent (piping hot and served by cheerful friendly staff) and great situation.

Very good pub/carvery/ala carte restaurant
We go there for carvery lunches usualy.
They do special occasion meals too, mothers day etc.
To get a table there you have to book, it is very popular and usualy full, especialy for Sunday carvery but we managed to get a table yesterday ok.
Food is of high standard, 2 course carvery under £14 each, drinks are reasonably priced.
Staff are very good, fast and courteous.
They are very accomodating for disabled access, moving chairs and tables around when we take my Mum. They have a lift to access the top function suite (mothers day function).
There are currently some works going on which has changed the access to the outside decking area. There is a bar outside which they open as occasions call for, we attended a wedding there some years ago.
Ducks, geese; swans, morehens and hundreds of carp in the lake outside which children can feed.
Never having stayed in the hotel i cannot comment, but ive not heard any complaints from guests when passing reception.
Parking can be an issue when they are busy but we have always managed to get in eventualy.
Overall, excellent! Pleased to recommend it to anyone.

My family hired the function room for a celebration and also stayed in the hotel overnight (along with other family members and guests). Everything was fantastic. The function room is huge, has it’s own bar and can be set out how you like. We also opted to include a buffet too which everyone loved. Right from when we booked we found everyone at the Oysterfleet so helpful and accommodating even after a few calls to check details and ask for changes to tables etc.
We were able to decorate the tables during the day and was checked in on to make sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything.
It was lovely to be able to stay the night and not need to travel home late at night and we were delighted with how big the room was and the super comfy beds. We stayed in a family room (2 adults and 2 babies) and we all slept through the night from being so comfortable (including the babies!).
We loved everything so much that we will be booking again for any other upcoming celebrations we have.

Staff are friendly, kind and polite. Bigger room than Belmont Hotel Newport manila and Premiere hotel in Heathrow airport . Close to shops. Thank you. Got a beautiful garden/outdoor at the back of the Light huose Restaurant. Very nice.
Beautiful place, was there for a wedding. All guests were well looked after and the food was lovely too.
