Great food, super friendly staffs, Kazi is really nice!
Best kebab around by a wide margin. IMHO better tasting than other fast food nearby. Fast and attentive service (first time I’ve been checked on by a server at a fast food joint). Place was quiet and bright. Hygiene had some room for improvement, but no worse than other fast food chains. Oh, and they had a slushy machine with that nostalgic medicinal cherry flavor like you would find on top of an old school banana split if you’re from that period. 😝
I went to this German Doner Kebab to eat dinner with my family as a french tourist. It was almost perfect.
The place was clean, the order terminals were fluid and intuitive, the aesthetics were pleasing, there were a lot of different meals which were tasty and the few interactions that I had with the staff were great and made me conclude that they are very welcoming and kind.
Moreover, there was even a qr code which would lead you to an app to order later, and the table number was underneath, so it is easier for the staff to bring you the food considering you only have to type your table number on the screen.
The only negative thing about this restaurant is that the food is a little cold, I would only suggest them to use a grill to reheat the sandwiches.
Overall, it was a great restaurant, with good services, mood, and price, so I would definitely recommend to anyone to come and eat there.
GDK is a regular go to for me. The food is always good, the restaurant is clean and tidy with welcoming staff. I recommend for a quick bite when you’re hungry, it’s very filling and is a decent price for the portions. Staff are friendly and will work to meet your needs.

Certainly does what the name says and was not disappointed! We ordered the gym kebab and added a side of fries. The meat was incredibly delicious, the salad fresh and the fries yummy! The portion size perfect and the staff very helpful and polite. An amazing meal out with the family - Thank you 😊
This eatery should be definitely on your list when in Canterbury. They have an amazing range of kebabs and not to mention the pocket friendly prices. Also special mention to Kazi for being the sweetest host to us.
Far better than your typical Turkish kebab takeaway. Lost for words. All I can say is if you haven’t tried it, get to your nearest GDK asap you won’t regret it.
Ordered a chicken quesadilla meal here and it was lovely. The service was very good, the food arrived fast and was very tasty. Me and my toddler approved. Love that they're family friendly
Best Doner kebabs ever! Honesty, I'm very picky & normally have shish anywhere else but once I had a Doner from here I will go out of my way to go here instead of elsewhere. I had the Dorito burger too. Food always hot & never greasey. Store is always clean and staff friendly, very helpful and polite. I'm telling all my friends kebabs from here are heaven!
Absolutely amazing and the food was so good and fresh but the service from a girl called jasmine really put it all together she was so lovely and nice, it was my first time there and I’ll definitely go back! x
i’ve had the og kabab here a few times definitely a fav of mine, today my bread was split so it was a bit harder to eat but i’m sure they would have replace it if i asked, check back was done and staff were nice,
i didn’t like the atmosphere as much as the music wasn’t my vibe.
I’ve been here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. The food is delicious. The meats are well-seasoned, not greasy at all and they were generous with their portions. The salad that was served was fresh and crispy! To hold everything together was their bread which was soft, fluffy and tasty on both occasions.
I ordered the original German doner kebab (regular meat portions) and chose flaming fries as my side. The fries are perfection. Best ones I’ve had since moving to the UK.
Their chilli cheese bites are also really good.
The staff were pleasant and the place was clean. They disinfect the tables after customers leave, which is great.
I’d definitely come back again.
