We visited here today with family. Will definitely will be returning. The staff were friendly and helpful, environment was bright and welcoming. My son can find things overwhelming but he seemed really comfortable here and loved the cushions.

Updating my rating! Everyone deserves a second chance and the love is mutual now….Returned for a brownie ( double chocolate), a molten hot chocolate (sensual and cozy all at once) and because woman cannot live on brownies alone…sourdough slices with humus, arugula and and pickled red cabbage. easily becoming one of my favorite spots in Canterbury. (Skip the over priced tea shops on Main Street! )Nice spot to duck in with a new book (opposite Waterstones book store) Hope they soon get everything on the menu consistently right as coffee and lemon cake were disappointingly ordinary the first visit, but altogether enough for sheltering sweetness for a moment of shelter on a gray day. The promise here is definitely in the brownies😉

We had their vegan and gluten free brownies, a salad, and a smoothie. Their treats are allergy friendly, but there are not a lot of allergy friendly foods. Still a good find!

My favourite place!! Any excuse to go to this lovely cafe. Incredible gluten-free brownies (they’re so good warmed up, with ice cream) definitely best hot chocolate in town, as well as brilliant milkshakes. Great atmosphere, lovely/helpful staff. If you’re in Canterbury and fancy a coffee and a brownie, this is the place to go!!

Probably the best brownies I’ve had. You can really taste the flavours, not just chocolate. Great quality, would go again.

We stopped off for a quick refuel stop during a birthday break weekend in Canterbury. Seating available inside and out. The milkshakes were quite special, the ginger caramel flavour was especially good. What was great was a free brownie if it was your birthday, lovely touch! Pop inside if you're passing!

Small and out of the way but a very pleasant experience. Served by a cheerful and excited gentleman who made us feel welcome. The milkshake I had was lovely and my sister seemed to thoroughly enjoy hers. Great cafe would definitely recommend.

Fantastic coffee and well-cooked, tasty pain au raisin. Good value too with the breakfast deal. Lovely service from Poppy. A great spot for people-watching in the heart of Canterbury. Will definitely return.

Nice soy latte, delicious hot chocolate. carrot cake was good, but the icing was overly sweet for both our (my daughter & I) taste.
