Cafe De China - Canterbury - Photo album

Food was delicious and very tasty. I really enjoyed the special fried rice. The owners were also very friendly.
I have always loved the food here and still do. It's getting a bit dated now the plates you can see marbling and gray and the pictures over the glass window etc the tape is discolouring. It was 1/4 full and we laughed how some of the dishes were thrown onto the table like frisbies The menus were ve
Yummy king buffet Very nice food at a reasonable price and refill drinks. Very nice atmosphere a nice modern relaxed restaurant. Staff were very friendly and polite, very clean as well. Definitely recommend đź‘Ť
Love this place. Used to be weekly regulars during uni days, now just when we’re back in town visiting friends. Great selection of food and prompt service albeit sometimes they can be too quick to ask for orders. It’s a large open dining room so it can be quite noisy when busy, I wouldn’t recommend
nothing has changed. Since time began, since the dinosaurs fell or since the Normans came with sword and shield, not a single thing in Cafe de china has changed. the decor makes it feel more like a time capsule than a restaurant and the manager was born in that outfit. That said.... the service is
This is the best chinese in Canterbury. Never had issues with delivery even late at night. Very happy staff and over all food sobered me up. Couldn't suggest more for a likkle midnight snack. đź‘Ś
We always have a lovely time here. We go at least once a year for a friend's birthday and the food is always beautiful, the service is second to none and the atmosphere is always lovely. Pauline and co are happy to help in every way they can and the food is always prompt.
Excellent customer service and wide range of choices on the menu. Large varied tables layout in an L shaped dining area. Meant that you could comfortably enjoy your food and chat without hearing others.
Absolutely delicious takeaway and friendly service. The chicken satay and chow mein were great. This is a fairly new takeaway and restaurant and it's so much better than the place that was there before!! I'm a fan!
This is now a takeaway, the reviews currently showing here do not relate to this business. The previous owners ran it as a buffet style restaurant that also did take away, this new venture has only been open for a couple of weeks, as at end of March, 2021. It also runs an oriental food shop.
We went to Cafe De China on a Sunday lunchtime to celebrate a friends 80th birthday and had a lovely time, the staff were very polite and attentive, and the food was excellent. The decor is a bit tired and the carpet could do with an industrial clean, found our feet sticking to it! Parking was a bit
First visit here. Excellent all you can eat meal, reasonably priced. Friendly service from all the staff, and the food was very nice. Toilets were good, and clean. Will go again.
Food is ok and made from fresh rather than sitting congealing under buffet lights. Fixed price eat as much as you like menu is reasonably priced. Decor and general demeanour is a little tired.
