We recently visited this pub for use of their function room. It was our daughters 5th birthday and we had a disco party - The manager, Simon)was very helpful from help with the booking to discussing menu options. He even called the day before the party to go over what food we had for the party was okay, which was oustanding customer service. Considering they probably dont have many children visit for parties they were very accomodating and super attentive. There was plently of food and when we ordered other food items from the menu, it came quickly - they really couldnt do enough. Poppy felt very special having this experience and all our friends and famiy that came along all agreed that they will be back to enjoy this pub again. Thanks to all the staff and Simon for our special party.

Good value food and very friendly staff! Real Character pub that says everything about Canterbury! I had the stark and riddles pie! Piping hot and very fresh! Hot choc and a pint! Kids were welcomed and the place was very clean! Well worth a visit for a relax and a sit down! Off to Canterbury Tales with the kids now!

I love it there. It's also a trip down memory lane for me as my Mum worked there during the last war. She was evacuated ther from London with my brother and sister. It is alovely old Pub.... Xxxx

my partner and I have been here twice now and both occasions were excellent! Once for dinner and drinks and once for lunch. Both times the food was hot, well presented and delicious. Some food items are cheaper than wetherspoons which surprised us. We are definitely coming back!

Very nice little pub to go for a meal. The food prices are very good and it was an even better deal with the defense discount! Staff were exceedingly helpful, polite and professional. Beer prices are average. Soft drinks are expensive unfortunately hence the lost star.

Great little pub with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff to match. Would recommend for a couple of drinks on a cold day/night out. Can't comment on the food as we only stopped in for a pint.

The standard of food and service should be like this everywhere. Great staff, delicious food, no overdraft necessary.

This is a great pub for food and drinks - they always have deals on and super tasty big portions for food. There’s also a lot of spaces to sit inside for groups with tv screens or outdoors in nice weather.

Sat outside, pleasant on a warm day, not to busy. Food was freshly cooked, nice and hot. We had the 2 pub classics for 11.49, very good value. Staff pleasant and would visit again next time we come to Canterbury.

Great prices, food and portions. Just a little bit hot as heating was still on despite the glorious weather. I would appreciate more sitting areas and chairs for eating in the garden.....but it was a smoking area so not very appropriate for eating with children. I will recommend it in general a great dining experience.

Second time going to the three tuns and omg if you haven't been it is a must, staff are so friendly and food is amazing i tried the build your own chicken burger and WOW it was amazing I don't normally eat burgers but this was to die for so juicy and filling, the chips were cooked to perfection and the onion rings were crispy on the outside without being greasy. Will definitely be back next week.....

Sitting here right now listening to locals poke fun at each other. The pints are fairly cheap and it is warm in here. Nice joint. EDIT: passed thru going the other direction. Good inexpensive food too. A good place to visit

Popped in here after a long day at Wingham Wildlife Park for a bite to eat after having no success finding anywhere else. A really old pub with a huge history, dating back apparently to the Roman times when it was a theatre. No parking but the service was polite and fast, the food was hot and fresh and four meals were delivered to our table within fifteen minutes of ordering. A relatively small pub but would highly recommend! Typical Greene King pricing and standards - very impressive!
