The Green Room At The Marlowe Theatre - Canterbury - Photo album

Lovely theatre and lovely location. I come here often as this is my local theatre. Had to queue for merchandise but it didn't bother me. Staff are always friendly and welcoming! Can't wait to return soon.
It was excellent we went to see 2:22 a ghost story, but have been there to see quite a few shows. The seats (we sat in the stalls) are comfortable and give you a good view of the stage, there is plenty of leg room which is good. The facilities are clean and there is a bar and cafe area where you can
Went to see 42nd street. Brilliant performance, lovely modern threatre. Drinks and food not too expensive. Had a wonderful time there. Staff very friendly and you can ask them anything they really do look after you. The bar staff really help you out. Ice creams very good value for £3.00 and you
Came to Canterbury from Portsmouth to meet my friend who is a local. The show was really good. Theatre was spot on. Clean and easily found our seats. Would definitely recommend your theatre 🫶🏼
To come back to this theatre after 26 years and it is totally renovated! What a delightful place and all the staff are top notch! Bit cramped backstage and a labyrinth to navigate… still I love it here and they are a generous audience to stand for us every night❣️
I had heard various reports about the seats and long row etc. but found it reasonably comfortable, though more leg room would make it better. I could see the whole of the stage even though we were in the top circle. Good experience.
Nice venue, not so large that you can't see what's happening on stage. But do choose your seats carefully, as the side ones probably don't get a great view and you would have to twist to see the stage.
We come here often, sitting in different areas and it never disappoints. The staff are friendly, it’s easy to get to your seats, the snacks and drinks are reasonable, and the shows are awesome! Great experience every time, thoroughly recommend.
After finding parking in the city about £8 for 3 hours, it's a short walk into the centre. A lovely looking theatre with lots of space and staff to ask if you need anything. We haven't used to bar or the restaurant to date. Both seemed busy without too much of a queue. The toilets were clean and wel
Parking available relatively close, though busy. Theatre clean, tidy, well staffed. Queues at the bar and the toilets though and the foyer packed. Inside the seats, were comfortable and boosters were available. Excellent venue
