Best place for breakfast, absolutely brilliant every time I visit. The coffee is the best I've tried in canterbury, not sure why it's so good but it is. I've been to most cafes in canterbury now and this is by far the best. The food is always hot and fresh, very little wait time, service is always spot on and one of the best places for prices. Seriously, try this place, at least for a fry-up if nothing else.
This Beano Cafe has been a childhood exeprice with my dad and its one of the best places i say id go too. The food never fails to not fill u up even if u didnt eat the day before and just lovely people who own the place and amazing food.. never once let me down!!

Excellent place for coffee, service and atmosphere not much options for Vegetarian/Vegan as it's a lovely place for traditional English breakfast....coffee/latte highly recommended.
Clean, staff polite & well spoken food is good quality drinks are served @ temperatures required. Reasonable prices. Would recommend Beano's cafe to everyone. Toilet facilities are clean but upstairs. We'll lit & handrail to help. Parking just over the road pelican crossing @ car park to help with crossing the busy road. Fairly close to Beano's. 7

My family and I ate here every morning in our holiday from Australia, and I looked forward to it every time I woke up. The menu is simple and cheap and the coffee was great. Friendly owners, what more could you want?

They love it. Decor is old but clean.
Lovely staff. Parking is an issue if you can't get in the car park opposite.
What a great place. Staff are so friendly and thier food is amazing, had the Beano breakfast very reasonably priced and cooked great not swimming in grease like many other places. 5stars definitely earnt by what appears to be a family business too. Been again a few times now and it's consistently amazing.
Breakfast is pretty good value for money , love that they do tin tomatoes, the sausage could be a little better quality. I would return
Great place to eat a decent fry up! Varied menu. Price and service are very good as you can tell on a Friday when it's packed with building workers, but don't let that put you off.. Well worth the walk through town.
I had been coming into Canterbury for years before I moved here, and the Beano cafe has always been a cafe that I’ve been aware of and it is used from time to time.
One great thing about the Beano is it’s consistency, I mean generally I have the same food
, I’ve always gone in and had the veggie breakfast (that’s why I go there) and the food is always been really good quality with great quality ingredients with polite staff.
I’m not an easily please person, one thing that has always impress me about the Beano’s food is always presentable with fantastic size portions. There is a wide variety of food on offer and I can’t contest to the other food but I’ve always been very impressed with the food that I have had in there.
