Lovely location. Went for dinner, place is sometimes crowded so would recommend a reservation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ordered a pizza and a starter. The food was good but has potential to be much better if the ingredients were fresher. Would recommend.

Wonderful location in a Tudor-style building, not far from the cathedral and right on the canal where the boat tours depart. Sidewalk tables, indoor dining rooms, and a garden at the back. Nice choices on the menu from starters, mains, pasta, pizza, and desserts. Tiger prawns, caramelized onion pita, and four seasons pizza were all excellent.

Cozy Italian restaurant in a very central location. We felt very welcomed by the staff. The food was very delicious, with good quality ingredients. There is a good selection of pasta and pizza dishes to choose from. Loved my pasta, very well balanced flavours. They seemed to be a busy restaurant, so it is recommended to book a table. There are tables available in the back yard. Recommended.

Wildwood Canterbury is a fantastic Italian restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. We recently had the pleasure of dining there, and we were blown away by the quality of the food, the service, and the overall ambiance. For our main courses, we ordered the "four season" pizza and the "Philly cheesesteak" pizza. The "four season" pizza was topped with pepperoni, mozzarella, roasted artichoke, mushrooms, red pepper, anchovies, black olives, and basil. The "Philly cheesesteak" pizza was topped with thinly cut strips of marinated steak, roasted red onion, chimichurri dressing, mozzarella, cheese, and baby plum tomatoes. We also enjoyed a few ice cold glasses of beer with our meal. We received our food quickly, within about 10 minutes of ordering it. We were seated at a nice table next to the window, which gave us a great view of the sky and the outside seating area. The "four season" pizza was a delicious and flavorful combination of toppings. The artichokes were perfectly roasted, and the anchovies added a nice umami flavor to the pizza. The "Philly cheesesteak" pizza was also excellent. The steak was tender and juicy, and the chimichurri dressing added a nice tanginess to the pizza. We were very impressed with the service at Wildwood Canterbury. Our server was attentive and friendly, and he made sure that we had everything we needed. We were also impressed with the speed of the service. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Wildwood Canterbury. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We would definitely recommend Wildwood to anyone looking for a great Italian dining experience

Went on a sunday for lunch and absolutely loved it. Big terrace out the back which was a nice surprise. Friendly waitress service and fast turnaround of our order. I had mushroom burger for main and affogato for dessert. Delicious!!

Such an enjoyable evening. We started with the antipasto platter and then had a delicious vegetable pizza. As good as anything we've had in Italy. Thank you.

Good service and good food. A nice selection of pizzas and pasta dishes along with some other specials. Atmosphere is nice as well and it's conveniently situated on the high street. If I am being critical I would have liked my pasta is a slightly bigger dish as it was a bit challenging in the dishes provided. We enjoyed our meal and desserts were excellent. I would go again.

Sunny outdoor dining, with a chilled social area by the River Stour. Would definitely recommend their Mojitos on a warm day, I had the chicken and asparagus risotto whilst my friends had the linguine which we really enjoyed!

Excellent hospitality, felt very welcomed. We usually dine at any Italian restaurant on my wedding anniversary and for this year chose wildwood on visiting Canterbury. We did not book table in advance as we were there by 5 30pm. Alfie and Christiana were very polite. Pizza and Pasta were amazing. They have quite a few vegetarian & vegan options. Nice atmosphere. Would recommend.

I enjoyed a lovely meal here with three other family members. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we were given our seats. The staff were very charismatic, friendly and approachable- also having great knowledge of their menu options, including their drink selections. We were told about the 10% service charge being optional but when I asked if this was used for tips and it was affirmed that it was, we happily paid it. It was really nice being made aware of this being optional, however. The food was delicious (genuinely the BEST sweet potato fries we've ever had, lovely and crispy) and the staff were the perfect level of attentive, even with us sitting outside, they gave us time between meals and asked if we'd like water or other drinks between courses. My disabled husband is a slow eater and has small vessel disease and when asked if he'd finished, misheard and thought the staff had asked if everything was okay and was a bit flummoxed that his food was taken but this was our misunderstanding and we took the loss on the chin. We really enjoyed our time here and will be sure to visit again. You're all doing a wonderful job.

My experience at Wildwood was very much a mixed bag. We were left waiting at the door for five minutes, loitering awkwardly until somebody noticed us. We were originally seated under very bright spotlights, but I asked to be moved due to my autism. We were then sat at a table they promptly moved us from again, as it was booked, until we eventually got third time lucky. Despite this, the servers continued to be friendly and apologetic, and I did not mind atall. Unfortunately, a party of 16 was booked into the room we were in, and we couldn't hear much of what the other was saying. This is however, to an extent, my fault for asking to be moved. The food however was lovely! We had Calimari and Focaccia for starters, and a Cheeseburger and Philly Cheesesteak for mains. Gorgeous! We absolutely intend to return, just perhaps at a quieter time of day and year.

We had an incredible dinner at Wildwood. The steak was cooked as requested and the risotto was very tasty and creamy. The only thing that could be better was the drinks; we ordered virgin drinks as we do not drink alcohol and one of those had a bit of too much syrup in it. Aside from that, everything was perfect and we will definitely be visiting again soon.
