A secret, hidden in a small alley, not that touristic, lovely and absolutely english! Super personal and old school. You should visit it if you are enjoying a day in Canterbury!

So pleased I found Lazix. We wanted a nice breakfast before heading off home. The Eggs Royale was perfect and the better halfs Smashed Avocado "aww it was lovely". As for the coffee, which is what really matters, was one of the best I've ever had. So many are bitter and just not that good but Lazix is spot on. As for the 2 people serving us, good banter and really nice lads. The cafe isn't too shabby either. All in all a great place to chill and unwind.

We had a lovely afternoon tea here. We hadn’t booked in advance which wasn’t a problem at all for the staff. They asked if we didn’t mind waiting they would get one together for us which was great. Generally excellent and friendly service. The food and coffee was amazing too and the terrace was a lovely setting to enjoy it all.

We absolutely loved this place! On a staycation to Canterbury we ended up visiting Lazix cafe 3 times! Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere and brilliant staff too. Thank you team Lazix. If you are going to go, have the chocolate orange cake, it tastes like Jaffa cakes only WAY better (in the photos). Also, we had oat milk porridge with homemade fruit compotes on top for breakfast this morning.

Perfect Cafe location, with a view of the Cathedral itself from the upstairs floor windows where better to enjoy a brunch or cake?! I stopped off today for a late breakfast and it was excellent 👍🏽

My partner really wanted to have a cafe lunch, so I hunted down one of the best cafes locally. Deceptively large on the inside, the decor is almost in a cosy Parisian style, with some seats (which were unfortunately taken) looking so comfortable you wouldn't want to move once you are in them. We sat outside in a covered courtyard which was nice as it was still fairly warm. We had kinder hot chocolates which were incredibly rich, but hit the spot. For lunch I had eggs Florentine (with added bacon) which was just to my liking and filled me for the rest of the day.

Great cafe, lovely people and excellent service. We had 2 flat whites - great and I had eggs Benedict royale (really tasty). **You need to know that there is a lovely covered seating area upstairs** Really nice 👍🏻 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
